For a tier with only 27 human owned teams, the top of the tier has become lots of fun. Coming into today we had...
#1 Trinity Titans - Trinity took a bad loss early in the season against the Lordz but came back strong until they lost a close one to the Eagles (ironic that they lost to the two most prominent multis in the tier). A loss today against Band of Brothers dropped them all the way back to #5!
#2 Corpus Christi Vacation Bears - The Vacation Bears' season couldn't have started worse with losses to Game of Zones and Band of Brothers. They came back strong, reaching #1 in the tier, until they ran into the Titans. They've been solid since that loss but slid to #3 after today's game due to relative opponent strength.
#3 Fury - Fury was snakebit at the start of the ladder season and dropped close games to both Trinity and Cool Runnings. Things looked back after a mid-season league loss to the Vacation Bears but Fury rebounded nicely and are riding a 12 game win streak. They bumped up to #2 following today's games.
#4 Game of Zones - GoZ has spent the majority of the season at #1. A bad loss against the Hungary Hippos around mid-season knocked them back for a few games but they rebounded to #1. Fury handed them a second loss and they've been stuck at #4 since. This is a perfect example of how the timing of losses in GLB2 affects your overall standing as GoZ is now behind three 3-loss teams.
#5 Band of Brothers - Band of Brothers has put together a solid season. An early league loss to the Eagles set them back and losses to Fury and GoZ in ladder matchups make up the totality of their losses. A win today in league play against Trinity jumped them up to #1.

They're just a bit behind the top 5, but very dangerous. Behind this group of six teams there are several tier 2 teams that are dangerous but too far back to contend for the top spot. Those include:
