Fix those issues and it'll help rushing a ton.

Oh...I almost forgot. What about the plays where the QB gets tackled before he makes the pitch???? That is f***king RIDICULOUS.

How are running plays that result in negative yardage most of the time broken, but passing plays that result in the same OK? DO you not weed the runs with poor blocking theory and/or poor pathing that result in loss of yards out of your playbooks like passing coordinators do? The reason I responded with the same exact line of crap, is to demonstrate thats all it is a crybaby line of excuses.

Yeah...because in real football the QB never gets sacked but the QB always gets tackled before he pitches to the HB...

How many times have you ever seen a QB get tackled before making a pitch to the HB???

It's happened in the NFL before. Not often but it happens

Most NFL teams wouldn't elect to pull the playside guard when they're facing a 5 man front either though.

GLB2's inability to audible on the blocking hurts. I wonder if you could setup the Guards with similar logic as Dog LB blitzes? Pull if "uncovered" type logic?

Most NFL teams carry the threat of a passing game, thus deterring the defense from lining up in a 5 man front

Who cares what happens in the NFL? Most of it can't be replicated through this sim. The goal is to balance everything and make it fun. Not being able to use a pitch against a 5 man front is stupid.

Yup. GLB2 simply can't do some of the things that the NFL does on a regular basis...such as audibles.

If in the NFL teams knew that pitches would be auto-TFL when seeing 5 d-lineman on the field, they'd just audible to something else. GLB2 tactics don't have that luxury, so pitch plays need to be changed slightly.

Nobody said you can't pitch against 5-2. You absolutely can. You just can't reliably avoid QB TFLs when you pull both the playside G and OT. That makes some pitches bad against 5-2, not all of them.

It's pretty realistic. Pulling both of those players would be a rather poor decision against that alignment. GLB2 just doesn't afford you the ability to adjust a bad plan like that midgame.

It isn't realistic and it isn't good for the game.
