Being realistic about the expectations of the game is not trolling. It is a game based around waiting. Whether it's waiting for a team, or waiting for the next game your team plays. A game based around waiting is not inherently bad, but let's not act like it appeals to everyone with an internet connection that has a mild interest in football.

It's a niche genre. I generally enjoy the genre, as I'm guessing most of the people in this thread do. It is, however, not incredibly popular with younger people.

Yeah I like this game too. Especially the small break between important matches

My only real disappointment is that I'm not really able to enjoy the game.

There's no joy in playing to win because I either don't win, or I do win and "who cares" because I'm an admin and have access to the code. What I liked about GLB Classic before I became an employee was making weird builds and trying to figure out the nuances of all the skills and SAs...but that doesn't have much enjoyment when I either wrote that chunk of code, or can do a "find all" and see all instances in the code where it is used in 5 seconds.

You're missing the point. You literally can't play him at the moment. Would have to wait for the sim which is at the top of every hour thus making it a waiting game.

You should just make a second account (which you prolly still have for posting) and build a team all by yourself the perfect way (in terms of code and your planned strategy). Would be funny to see how the userbase rates a complete new face getting to no.1 really quickly

Oh...well I actually like having to wait. This game is perfect for those with families and jobs. If I wanted (or could) play all the time, I would get in a Madden League.
