I wouldn't use TE Drive against an Engage 8 defense. It has a lot of vertical routes but it is actually not a very fast reading play. Also not a great play for MO since WR3 turns right into the FS's wheelhouse rather than away from him.

Ah. Tbh, I don't have much experience with TE Drive. FSM doesn't run it, in part because our completion % was always terrible. Like 25-30% terrible. So we go with other plays.

well FSM is also long past the stage of seeing an engage 8/MO defense looking for answers too.

Yeah I have added a small chance to run outside. Not going to sell out to it. Some blitzes are just hard to beat if the team really built for it. Ideally can stay in 3rd and 6 or less. Then go ahead and blitz id rather you did lol. 3rd and 8 is hit and miss as Im not one to try and spam one play. So have few that may get called. Ive for sure come a long way in getting plays I like called at the right time. Still get some head scratchers at times.

I use very limited plays in long. Don't ever use very long for good or bad lol. All to often find myself yelling at the QB to throw the damn ball to that wide open guy while he rolls into a sack for no good reason lol. Has pretty good pocket aware from what I know. Its a crap shoot at times for sure
