First I just want to say GG to Fair Forever, he has a great team.

Regarding the I-pitch weak being called so much: it was tied with 3 other runs as being the highest priority outside run so I am not surprised that it was called so much, it is a bit "rng-ish" that it was called almost twice as much as any of those other runs though. Ultimately I think I still lose if it was only called an equal amount as the other plays.

Regarding the play calling overall: this is my first time running an all run team or a team that uses QB runs at all so I am still feeling out how to gameplans from one to game to another. Anyone else with Stobie's scout tool can see that if you scout No Name, they haven't played many all run teams all season (just mine, Seneca, and arguably the Trenton Devils). So, going into this thing I had very little to work off regarding what to expect. I could either form a plan around what little I could see or just make a somewhat random plan I the hopes that he couldn't stop everything. I went with planning off information I could see, that info was that he went heavy with 5-2 zone blitz roll to stop inside and strongside runs. I-pitch weak works nicely against that play, however he changed up and went with different defenses that totally crushed the weak runs. Live and learn.

Makes a lot of sense. Thank you for your time Dan, and good luck the rest of the season.

coming into this game all we thought was, "we can't lose to some god damn virgins, they might as well be queers!! or bruce jenner!"

well it was a rough week, ole mintberry crunch we fed extra cereal before the game(he brought some extra wheaties in it too), very proud of the defense on that one. allowed 253 yards and in reality take out that last 83 yard run and we held them to under 175. Betty white we gave her some extra blood pressure medicine so she could stick it out.

in reality great game by the have never had sex still. was fun to watch, we managed to pull away at the end. i did notice we could have ran from 4wr quite a bit if we wanted but no need to risk it.

I hope so too Dan (unless I'm your opponent).

Now - I've got a reporter trying to track down Otega as soon as he exits the bathroom. It might be awhile as I understand the stench is heinous.

When he comes out though:

Otega: Your team has been a little bit up and down this season. What would you say was the key to this victory?

Porn vs Santa Fe has now finished.
20 seconds into the game I thought to myself "this one is over." Santa Fe had gone incomplete / incomplete / sack fumble as Watrick Pillis made his presence felt.

Boy was I wrong though - as this turned out to be a great, great game and Santa Fe had themselves in a position to win if they could have just made a few plays down the stretch. More than once they had the ball trailing 23-28...this game was within their grasp.

Who says there isn't poetry in sport? 20 seconds into the game - Pillis made a huge play. And with 16 seconds left to play - he did it again to seal the victory.

This was a game that saw almost 1000 yards of offense; 145 pass attempts; 13 sacks; 3 lost fumbles; 1 INT. Beyond that - Santa Fe missed 2 FGs and an extra point....boy the game could have been different if they make those.

A great game though - well done Santa Fe for pushing the #1 team to its limit.

Rob: How nervous were you, watching that game slip into the 4th quarter with Porn unable to solidify its lead? Anything you wish you'd have done differently? Who would you like to give the game ball to from Porn?

Marvinpaige: Did you know your team could test the #1 team in the game like that? Any regrets in the game plan? Who gets the game ball for the Gunslingers?

And for those who picked the Vipers to upset Atlanta --- you WERE CORRECT.

This was really a great game. Atlanta has some terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible drops -- at some terrible, terrible, terrible times. This game came down to the wire though and Atlanta had a chance to tie the game up right down to the final seconds.

Interestingly (to me) - Vipers blitzed 60 times - resulting in 1 sack and 9 hurries. Not much bang for that buck.

Also - based on this game - Vipers jump to #11 and Atlanta falls to #7

Viper: You went heavy on the spread inside running. Early in the game it looked like you'd rush for 500 yards -- but those runs really started getting stuffed. What happened there? Why did the running game seem so inconsistent?

Marvin7:
First of all - let's address the elephant in the room. You are Marvin7. Your QB is named Marvin Paige. Your GM is named Marvinpaige - and that same marvinpaige owns the Santa Fe Gunslingers. Why are you multi accounting? Since you are multi accounting...why didn't you pick less similar names and refrain from naming one of your superstars after your other account?

Atlanta's kicker has only missed twice all season (13 of 15), and then he missed 2 more this game.

wow - that's pretty crazy. He might not make another FG all season as the law of averages shrinks those goal posts to about the size of a peace sign on a 4 year old girl.
