Really wonder what would have happened if Providence just went pure run against GA. Watching that run-blocking o-line try and stop GA's spin cycle onslaught wasn't pretty.

I was surprised how effective Providence was with the inside run early on. We've got some work to do there.

I commented on this in our team forum. I think we're fine for the most part against the pass at this point. Even elite veteran passing attacks are having modest to very poor games against us at this point, and we've still got some gold SAs to go on pass defense.
Our issue is we've still got some laggards on finishing up run defense skills. I've been pretty consistently verbally abusing folks in the team forum about it all season. The caps are there. They need to get filled up.

It was the first time I actually scouted some and planned a bit, and thought in some situations we could catch them off-guard with passing - but I should have just went almost all running. That is on hell of a blitzing D-Line there - I won't be passing much the next time we met. For cripes sake we were averaging 9 yards a rush! I am dumb...
I am pissed that we lost don't get me wrong, but I was pleased at how things went the first 3 quarters.
I am thinking this is the start of a nice rivalry to come.

Right, that is why I said makes me happy as you stop focusing on it which means all the additions I make might do some difference, but all in all might just turn into a crap shoot RNG no matter what we try to do at this point.
I don't think we had a bad day defensively against DN, and that's a focus built passing attack. 37 points was more a result of the fumbles than the offense working us over specifically
In any event, we will still make some investments in skills and SAs that are going to benefit pass defense ultimately.

Of course, our guys getting back to the grindstone on pumping some tackling may just increase KLs, and make them better pass defenders
