Harrisonburg Hammers DD 2.0, 56-13... holds them to under 3 ypc

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/163612

the best run-stopping performance we've had in a few seasons. Hopefully a sign of things to come against Minnesota in the future? If our guys play this well against them, we might have a legit shot.

Adder, I'm still not sold on this goalline defense you think you have figured out... we broke off 3 long TD runs against you today out of GL, two by my rQB

GG man, our offense really shot us in the foot today. The plan was for a ton of screens to loosen up clogging up the middle but other than the first 2 drives they didn't get called.

FWIW

43 point loss by Doinitin Djibouti 2.0 was the worst in the history of that team

C1 Wide Dogs isn't a bad call against rushing QBs but it certainly isn't a great one. The reality is that you have to pick a poison. C1 Wide Dogs gives you an 'ok' defense vs that goalline set.

Dime 3-2-6 Edge 3 Seam will rack up the TFLs, though you leave yourself exposed to interior rush.

Turning into a tough day for Helium's stacked Gamma division against top 5 teams.

Maybe Rhode Island can salvage it with the upset of the season?

yea gg, I was worried you were going to run those screens all day... I definitely decided to go all out stopping the run, giving up anything you attempted through the air. We'll make sure to prepare for screens next time we face you.

yea teams have started going soft defenses up the middle against our GL to help with the outside runs... we will add more inside rushes on 1st/2nd down out of GL, you better believe it. Also going to add QB outside runs for 3rd and very short, to make us less predictable. Those should make us slightly tougher to gameplan for, especially out of the GL.

C1 Wide Dogs did great besides 1 rush and that was from a juke firing putting my last man out of position.

25 (Run with the great juke)

Both big runs came from me trying to time the middle with inside rush defenses that failed miserably.

You would have to really go hard on rushing up the middle for anyone to really take much note of that. Kinda surprised DD went that hard inside against you guys.
