Look, American beers. Pretty sure the first beer outside the United States is down at like #20. Over 100 American beers that score higher than the top German beer.

lol...Yeah. lol

By the way...I never said german beers are the best. I have been in many many countries and many of them have really good beer. Just my year in the US was a disappointment beer wise but mainly because my American dad only drank the standard beers with me (Bud, Miller). Im sorry, but in my pointnif view those are not beers. In germany nation wide beers would be Radeberger or krombacher. Not the greatest beers but the do at least taste like beers^^ Im sure America has great beers but I dont get why such bad ones have the most popularity there

There are some good American breweries but they are not available everywhere (for the most part). I am currently in Belgium though and really loving all of the beer here. It is a shame that I do not have enough time to try them all!

Well, I apologize for you missing the opportunity to educate yourself with decent nationwide beers. Not internationally mass marketed on the scale of Bud/Miller/Etc. But available on either coast of the US in your average beer provider, such as a grocery store (if the state allows it). Off the top of my head these three are everywhere, on the cheaper side, and are decent. Red Hook, Sam Adams, Goose Island.

Shiner Bock is actually all over now. I first had it on Texas when it was really only there but it can be bought all over the country now it seems.

So your point here is that Bud and Miller aren't as good as German beers? That is a silly point.

They're popular because they're relatively cheap and a lot of good marketing. Not too difficult to understand.

Many Americans just do not appreciate good beer sadly. Many have only drank bad blonde beers for their whole lives and just believe that the good beers are too strong or bitter. Even a good blonde can make your average american's face cringe. There are still a good amount of people who do enjoy quality beers but I just think there are more "water" drinkers.
