Just be smart about it.
True that. I personally struggle with over thinking the O and do best when going with first instincts and keeping it simple. And yes, the SBB TE Clearout is money - SB Crossup to TE also great for 5 - 6 yards, those 90 degree cuts are tough to cover.

Takes me 20-30 minutes to scout/adjust for an opponent (and half of that is self-scouting honestly). Obviously early on will take longer but imo it isnt an absolutely crazy time sink.
This. Start by self scouting and stripping out what isn't working on third down, then key in on opponent. Change a few package outputs and done.

This is why imo running plays to "keep the D off balance" is a mistake because you are often acting for an empty audience. Focusing on your ypp and running plays that work makes a lot more sense.
I always assume that the DC I'm playing against is paying attention - and that by the time the playoffs come around, I've built up a scoutable game plan that won't look like anything I run in playoffs as it's based on game to game instead of running a static set of packages and plays... Of course I'm trying to gain maximum yards and win - yet I can work subterfuge in as well.
Oh, and to thwart tagging - develop a package for the playoffs that has your best plays and then swap out the bFB or bTE on rush plays; have your rQB throw the screens and hand off inside, have a bTE in for pass that isn't going his way, etc...

Fun-fact, before the playoffs most DCs are just tagging in high level leagues (in lower leagues you might not even be tagged). DAI's are much more robost than OAI's due to their nature, so heavy adjustments/scouting game-to-game would be very cumbersome. Ahh okay. That makes much more sense.

I have plays at 0% all the time that don't run. Either those plays are in another package you forgot about, or delete the given play and remake it (this is my tip when you find GLB ghosts that do happen) but you shouldn't have 3-4 plays doing spooky ghost stuff... However many plays are at >0%, the game standardizes those to a percentage out of 100% at the beginning of the game, which is why I keep all my plays at 100% in general unles there's 1 play I really wanna see spammed I might do 200%. The 0%'s shouldn't run at all.
Wait, I thought all the plays in a pac were supposed to add to 100? Have I been doing it wrong this whole time?

Personally I'd never not use progressions. Seems rather silly. None are set up perfectly for what you want.
As far as third downs the idea I always run with is use the smartest routes first and the deepest routes latest.
Amen

The sim makes them equal 100. It does math stuff that breaks em down based on what is in your packages %wise
I can't really explain it... Example:
5 plays are set to 20%
1 play is set to 100%
Sim will change it to:
5 plays at 10%
1 play at 50%
Something like that anyways

Gawddangit lol. It's the same thing if I set everything to add up to 100% though isnt it?

Imo. If you have multiple progressions for a play you like, its ok to have it in your AI multiple times. However doing so to keep the defense off balance is a mistake. By running the same play 4 times all you are doing is destroying your own ability to auto adjust and are wasting limited plays with sub-optimal progressions. imo fwiw.
This. Not to mention you would be giving dc's far too much credit of their scouting you out.

Active, gamer baller...wise is up there for GLB life.....frog withstanding of course
