sigh that wasn't even remotely fun to watch. Offense was sloppy on every single short yardage attempt and defense can't hold it up like that.

Looks like the blitz didn't do well. I'm curious to see if Queen City can hang with Air Raid or if they get embarrassed.

Cleveland's rather well built on awareness skills.

Vintage Philip Fry game from back in the day when he didn't see double or triple coverage all the time

Yeah, that's why you don't blitz.

I knew when we couldn't get that yard early on things were going to be downhill. But pretty much everything in that first quarter was just kinda alright this game isn't gonna go well at all. It's all good. I didn't plan on a win there, just was hoping to see some plays but never got to see them either. Which is what really sucks. You guys changed defenses though. That much I do know. So kudos to that.

Ya I think the plan from Xars might have been hopefully that blitz will keep Fry in a little bit and it did but by that time the game was out of hand. I need consistency from my quarterback first and foremost if I am gonna do anything and right now its tough. I think we can be pretty good when we get shit together but I just need to find the right playset when our chem isn't shit. They played our screen game excellent though. That was just well played as that was probably the one big thing that maybe could have gotten us going when trailing.

Their offense took advantage of single covered Fry and LHF's low chem on CB3 too. I feel like things went ok otherwise. Had the offense been able to produce some early scores things mighta been different but just wasn't in the cards. It is what it is. I keep on keepin on.

The only way to beat them is by being really good offensively and keeping pace. Once I saw the short yardage fails I knew it was going to be a tough one.

For sure. We just aren't in a great place yet. Happened last season too and late season we looked pretty good. Just hoping it all comes together.

I think it's time for you and romo to throw in the towel after a day like that from you both.

He could have grown up. I actually found the line about him I wrote in my draft guide entertaining to go back in look at; "looking at his personality and the time it will take him to adjust to pro style offense, Griffin strikes me as someone who maybe more successful with his second team than his first"

When he came out that first year and blew everyone away I was thinking I had been well, very wrong, now thats looking more and more like a possibility. Of course Dan Snyder didn't help by consistently partying with the guy and making him believe his own media coverage even more.
