Agreed, I think it came down to that long ass run you had in the 4th quarter. After that we couldn't gain any ground. I'm a little disappointed that we kept missing tackles.

Thank God we nerfed passing in the offseason.

Those guys all have 70+ tackling tech, 50+ tackling grip, and 40 to 90 tackling power. :FML:

See, the joke is that all three of the top teams in the league are pure running teams.

Agreed, the game is very unbalanced. They need to increase overall run awareness for defensive players so they can swarm the ball like a professional football team would do. Also, 90 pursuit and my players would still run directly into blockers that are already blocking someone else.

Or like how in real football you can't build a team that has a 100% pass or run?

Like my team can run, I'm just saving that for playoffs.

Next season's playoffs.

It is part of the problem with the number of players per team in this game versus GLB1.

Also the fact that you have "Run" and "Pass" abilities at all. In GLB1 you can certainly build a better run blocker than a pass blocker, but the strength, agility, speed, blocking, and vision attributes all factor in to both running and passing. Yes, you used your SAs and VAs to specialize, but you weren't useless at one because you were a beast at the other. The same went for Defence.

The ability to use tagging and custom defensive playbooks and plays also led to teams being able to sniff out one dimensional teams.

In this game you are punished for trying to balance and you have very limited tools to react to one dimensional teams.

Pursuit is useful, but it doesn't do what it says in the tool tip.

Yeah, I'm capped out on that, but very few of my players can take pursuit into that 75 to 90 range.

If it actually routed your dots around blockers, I would cap boost the shit out of it instead of investing so many SP in block breaking skills. As it is, it is basically a back door speed boost that is a lot cheaper than sprinting, which is enough for me to naturally cap it.
