As for shining light on how those numbers hit balanced teams that really all depends on the changes you make to the game. Right now any changes made to the passing game outside oline/dline interaction aren't going to change balanced teams much at all. Probably help them tremendously honestly. Most changes to the running game will just whoop everyone except the pass only teams. Granted the biggest problem with the running game is that the tackling skills themselves kinda suck. So it is tough to say whether a change to the tackling skills depending on what they are would really sway the game all around that much.

The premise of my breakdown were changes that nerfed the effectiveness of a specific offense, be it run or pass. I do not care what exactly has to be done or even if it is possible and it is not important for the sake of argument. You just wall-of-texting nonsense (instead of explaining why it's wrong) after caling it retarded is slightly annoying.

You really shouldn't be annoyed by me telling you that your breakdown sucks then. Pretty simple as that.

For a game tester who tested this game all for a week before a ton of changes were made, ones which I am pretty sure you would have absolutely agreed with unless you like your QB eating dirt on any and all inside blitz's despite your OG or C builds being 100 pass block oriented or losing to a team of 14 superstars, I think I am ok considering playing this game mostly from a phone. I don't even use Stobies gameplanning tool. I am not the greatest that is for sure. Also not claiming to be nor have I ever done so. But you can continue trying to despite finally being at vet level in season...9 is it? Fuck I don't know.

But hey, let me know how that breakdown works within this game though.

You completely miss the point, you don't bring anything to the table. You show up and say ideas 1, 2, & 3 are bad, but you have nothing that is better. It's a very simple concept, you nerf passing or running and it's going to effect teams who are average at it more so than teams who are great.

This This This.

Only way to balance the game out is to hurt those who go 100% one way.

Your first post was about "oversimplifying" and now you are telling me that I am missing the point? Sweet argument.

This is how GLB2 was formed.

We need more of this stuff, at least it keeps the forum alive. It's pretty bad when a main forum goes a day or 2 with no new posts.

I like the tactic suggestion. It is the only one that makes sense so far. Get a heavy buff one way and a heavy nerf for the other way. It would have to be a coordinator tactic.

no offense but if you are gonna put your focus in another game and keep this one in "beta" you should probably lower a bit of the costs associated with this game to compensate. with just a handful of players im in for about $20 per season and plenty of people have 5x that amount of guys, with the revenue you two are bringing in from this game there should be alot more prompt updates and resolutions to issues, esp to alot of this shit that has been noted since the first season.

A pretty bad answer from a PR point of view.

Why not just give a small boon to awareness/consistency for consecutive plays firing? Rollout with 8 straight running plays? Boon to awareness as a team is better at sliding over in the center as the power HB rolls straight again. And if the player is good enough he can yell "who gives a damn" as the defense becomes "aware" of being bowled over on their back. Making a defense more talented makes no sense but you can expect them to be in right place more often if the same crap keeps happening.

I gathered FWIW I'm never going to play Mighty Brawlers; football devotee. I'm sure there are more than a few here who are similar. Just an FYI. Plus you now have the yahoo games advertising surprised your not dumping more resources into GLB2 considering that.

im not pinning this on cdog because he works hard but whoever is responsible for leaving GLB 2 neglected should know that a customer has done more work for his glb 2 tool than WG has for its own game the past season so far. I don't know how WG can be proud with the amount of attention they have given this game this season.
