To be fair, I also think that tackles are somehow underrated. Look in the NFL, where tackles are alway an important stat if you are leading the league or be top 5 in it at least.
The best tackler in the best defense is nearly always an DMVP candidate at least. Kuechly last season is an example.

Ahhh yeahhhh....Vader just took over sole possession of 1st place for INTs in the Emerald League. He now leads the league in PD, KL and INT and is 4th in tackles and tied for 5th in FFum...yet still can't break the top 10 for Def MVP.

Racking up tackles isn't really an indicator of everything. If you're tackling a guy 4-7 yards downfield, you're not doing much.
Cleveland Browns MLB's used to always rank high in tackles...but it didn't mean anything...they weren't good.

one love for genius, what i look for in plays are negitive plays TFLs, Sacks and Turnovers

Well in Diamond Burfict gets no love. More tackles AND an intercetion for 56 yards AND a defensive TD in game one than the LB who got 6.5 sacks.
