GE needs to throw LB Contain out the window. All it did was set the OLB's up to be the easiest block for the FB on sweeps. Also, it doesn't work with inside the tackle runs. GE would have been better rolling with a 5-2 setup or cover 2 all day.

Well shit. I got fucked early on. I was inside the 20 yard line twice and came away with 0 points. Then, my stupid ass defenders would get "sucked in" to the LOS every time your QB or HB would make a dip into the LOS, then run back outside. I even specifically ran LB Contain in 2 WR sets to stop your outside runs...but my guys got caught in between 2 others blocking several times.

Pursuit can help you a bunch with the "safety gets hung up on CB blocking engagement" issue. Pursuit is your player's pathing intelligence. The higher it is, the more often they can re-evaluate their pathing relative to the ball carrier.
And yes, Dooku trucking my FS definitely inspired me to say "yeah, probably time to toss tackling skills a bone".

I don't know if balance will help them move through other players faster, but it will help prevent them suddenly stumbling over and falling down in those situations.
As for rear blocks, you need to be faster
