The really wierd thing is the 4 +0/+3/+4 gains where it would display briefly, then seem to gain the QB morale...like a resist actually counters the loss with a small gain... or maybe the display was incorrect.

It could just be it's a Intimidate vs toughness check to pass. Not necessarily "40 toughness negates it", it's just that most people don't have over 60-70 intimidate... where the 99 intim (100/whatever) is just too high to resist at 40.

I think it works just like the tooltip says. toughness reduces the damage. Cleveland was taking slightly less damage from it than the OP's QB. Instead of 27-30 damage, it was in the low to mid 20s. The tooltip says 15 is the damage it causes, but it looks like intimidation can clearly modify not just the fire chance, but the impact of the damage as well.

Wow. This is amazing.

Is it only one LB causing all that firing?

What if you're Blitzing 2 LBs and they both have it? Can it fire from two LBs on the same play?

Just one guy. Nobody's every tried to see if they could get 2 to fire on the same play. I'm guessing this is the only LB in the game with 99 intimidation too though.

Oh and Gal remember, this can fire on a 4-3 C1 Wide Dogs play which means my Rookie OLBs can grow up to do this and you're running QB at GA is going to be at 1 morale just like Cleveland.

And that means fumbles...

It says it works for running plays, but I've never seen it fire on a running play before. Might be worth looking back through more of detroit's game film to see if it has.

In any event, no way Corndog leaves it as is. Obviously Air Raid still tore up detroit despite it, but that wasn't a "real" defense. A player like that on a team like Harrisonburg, Salty, Hawaii, etc would just be ridiculous.

Yeah it's based on whether the LB is blitzing, not whether run or pass is called. I have 4 LBs with Silver TT on Fun Time. Going to watch more film to see if it fires on runs and if 2 can fire on the same play.

Though they don't have his high Intim.

that is what it says, but until I see it on a rushing replay, I don't believe it

I had my bronze guy in the line-up as the #2 LB man. Didn't see his fire once. He's got 66 Intimidation.

Quick look at my 4 LBs who have Silver TT.

We ran 55 D plays of which 26 were a Blitz. I have 4 of the 5 LBs on the roster, so on most plays there were 1-3 LBs capable of firing. Silver is "up to 30%" and my LBs are at 50 Intim.

For the game it only fired 3 times. Silver TT is supposed to reduce Morale "up to 8" but it looks like it's more than that when it does fire.

2nd time firing in game
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/98188/536935
QB ends previous play at 38 Morale
TT fires and Morale is 10
QB gets sacked and Morale is 1
This was 3rd down.
First play of next series http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/98188/537001
QB is up to 32

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/98188/537351
QB ends this play at 1 Morale
Next Series, first play is http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/98188/537396
TT fires and QB is at 1 Morale – possible QB recovered some morale and then TT took it down
QB ends play at 2 Morale after 2 yard catch
QB starts next play at 1 Morale
QB fumbles snap

Not very helpful, but I'll look at more games. The plan was to Gold TT on all of them, so we'll see how it works then.

If anything needs to be balanced it's spin cycle since my S* OT with 100 pass block tech still gets insta-spun 3-5 times a game.

If he's only giving up 3-5 spins per game, that's pretty dang good. And insta-spins could mean he's losing the initiation block roll for reasons other than tech. Positioning supposedly matters. If the DE/LB is basically past him or at a terrible angle, that 100 tech value may not be getting fully utilized. Might be getting beat by snap reaction or some other mobility reason. Hard to tell watching the sim, since it doesn't really tell you the whole story about their exact position and facing.

Lol, plan on Xavori playing a rookie team in season 7 with 5 LB's with 99 intimidation and Trash Talk gold, and then complaining and defending why it doesn't need balance all of season 8 once Corndog begins 'looking at it'

Not to worried about this yet. It's a heavy investment into intimidation and the SA

99 in primary stat and gold SA probably deserves to be good, especially when the opposing stat is 40 or less, right? Major investment in a stat you may otherwise not care about and you have to plan your D plays around it as well.
