i totally agree new players should start at zero chemistry, but I don't think it would be a bad idea to slightly up the chemistry gained per game played

I understand that Corndog. I just wonder if there's a better solution to the collusiony issues that isn't so punishing to the more legitimate offseason/inactivity type moves that get made.

It's kinda of a damned if you do and damned if you do situation. Might be good to find some middle ground and maybe give players signed in the offseason a chunk of starting chem or a bonus gain to chem. that way it's still bad to pick up players mid season for just an upgrade but also allows team to improve their roster in the offseason without screwing themselves over for the first few games. It would fit more in with an actual football feel as in both college and pro players who come in the offseason have camps and practices to gain chem so giving players some kind of chem boost would make sense for players signed during the offseason.

^^^^ oooo, i like that idea... and realistic

if signed before 1st game, maybe they start at 20% instead of 0% (mid season), to mimic real life, chemistry coming with preseason/training camp

Can we mimic other training camp like effects in the game like:

"Randall Cobb accused of multiple homicides" or
"Tony Dungy questions whether an anime girl playing QB is a distraction" ...

You forgot a team there yo.

Glasgow.

He forgot us because we're so boring, we have no superstars on offense and we made no changes in the offseason. Total snooze-fest.

Mid-season changes should be a problem, but when you revamp during an offseason, it shouldn't be the problem that it is. Off-season practice is specifically designed in the NFL to offset these chemistry problems.

There's really no negative effect on Defensive players anyway because the biggest Chem hit is in the Turnover Department.

So replacing Skill Position Players is a nightmare, while others is modest. I know this first hand at CVB when we added 3 new players at skill positions and their turnovers are literally happening at a 5x-10x rate vs. skill position players with high chem.

And yes, getting cut by your team mid-season out of the blue would suck, but that's the 10% of the time issue. 90% of the time you are looking to replace someone that is inactive.

Simple solution is to up Chem to 50 for everyone on the roster at the end of the off-season.

Haha, I have the utmost respect for Glasgow, Vase, and Air Raid, among others... maybe all three are better than HBurg? But Salty and Hawaii are the class of pro... and sadly have been a step up from the next tier since HBurg consistently wrangled with both of them back in S4

Ask Salty who is the Eris League Season 4 Champs. I am still amazed at Sieg and Rom_Fox pulling that one off. Salty is probably my favorite non Lounge team in the game.

However, I think we are probably a 5-7 team right now, which honestly is fine to me. I am just excited that Sieg and Rom_Fox are back for another season. My only sadness this season was not keeping The Hulk as DT, and seeing Chubby Cox and Max Aussie hit the free market from the Lounge.
