Which in your opinion is better.

100 rookie teams that will eventually lead to 30 vet teams.

or 50-60 vet teams and 20 rookie teams.

Going by the GLB1 mindset, most agent's have been conditioned to have the "no cares till WL" mindset which directly translates into the "no cares until Vet" mindset.

It's p obvious WG tried to counter that mindset and break that trend by removing ALGs here, basically making you able to perform at peak level from day 1 to retirement day. But can you teach an old dog new tricks?

Easy solution, buy teams any level, only make rookies. Dleagues shouldn't be filled with teams unable to be purchased. It should be filled with teams no one wants.

There's a big difference between GLB1 and 2.

1) five season build to plateau;
2) every season counts;
3) you don't screw up your build by trying to win in S1.

Thank you John Madden.

This is why I didn't ask your opinion.

But if you can skip from Rookie to Veteran on day 1, why wouldn't you? That is the place where you are going to have the best chance at being MVP HOF and top ladder team in the game. You are just sort of leaving those middle tiers in the dust.

Personally I think the way it is set up is fine, but there needs to be a reward for keeping your team and playing through the levels. That was kind of the idea behind chemistry but chemistry doesn't play much a part of anything until skills are developed enough that its an actual chunk taken from your build. Even then I don't believe it is so huge that gameplanning can't overcome it. Biggest hits would be something like carry grip on a HB or accuracy on a kicker taking 50% of their chem.

As per building a Superstar at any tier, it may have been a better idea to be able to turn a player into a S* that you already have going. That way people wouldn't have had to reset and could just take one of their players already made and make them superstars.

Me trying to think from a new agent/owner perspective... I don't see any incentive in jumping straight to Pro or Vet on day 1 of my ownership.

I'd rather learn the ropes and one day find myself at the top, as a serious, or at least knowledgeable competitor.

The only other reason why I'd skip the lower tiers, is if I found more opportunity for better players at a higher tier,
but looking at the FA situation, idk if that's the case.

That's just me though, there are definitely newbies who would jump to vet with a half cpu team, that's just not me.

This "problem" only even exists because players only age due to games played. Which of course, is a feature and improvement from glb1.

I think this sorts out fine in a few seasons as veteran shapes into whatever it becomes and the farm teams get rolling in earnest. Season 5 ought to have the first sizeable wave of farm teams to replace Season 1 teams with players planning to career boost.

If anything, players at vet should have a nice market when one and done non-career boosters come and go and need constant replacement.

Ya but as a new owner who are you playing? It isn't like this game is flowing with new users to make up a bunch of leagues. Where are you getting players from?

Ya Vet league should have a solid recruiting base after a couple seasons of it.

Galithor, what makes you think players without teams are going to wait that long?

Will be interesting to see how it starts playing out once we reach the point of having all the tiers in place. Once you are in vet league do you really want to reset at a whim? Seems like most teams will be farming new sets of teams up or recruiting their needs from there.

No one has ever asked for yours, unless they say, "anyone care to be totally wrong about something? Jampy?""

I have a suggestion up for debate:

GLB offers free team ownerships in the tiers that have more players than teams.

Users remain happy since they can play on a human team;
GLB is happy because 43 players boosting another season gives them more money than a team ownership.

who gets the free ownerships?
