I don't think any of us wants to see a team of CPU's in their division. It is entirely a waste of time and money spent for the most part for the other people playing them. Yes I realize that guy won with CPU's back in rookie league s1 but largely they are just going to get pushed in by most of us at any other stage of the game. The goal is simply to get FA's homes in which AI's and depth charts are set in place for them to actually enjoy their players play.

I got a Journeyman QB that is #56 on the HOF that's gonna be playing on a CPU team if noone wants him

QB has always been and always will be a tough position to place. They are a dime a dozen and most people run with just 1.

increasingly making the QB tougher to place is Laggo's thread about Pass Power not being essential. I passed on 20 different QB's that PM'd me the other night because they largely took that advice.

Stafford only has 25 and does just fine. I dont think 'Ringing has much more

Would this be less of an issue if the teams with active owners didn't fill their roster with 20 of their own players?
p.s. - my level 15 TE is available due to team folding. :/

I remember the early days of GLB Classic trying to recruit a full team, far too much hassle; it's much easier and less stressful to just create all the players.

Except that now 3-4 seasons in you have too many players. Early gratification has led to later marketplace failure.

Ringing pisses me off right now tbh. So does OG's QB. The amount of ducks they throw is the difference between beating peoples heads in and passing as good.
Ringing also gets away with it because SF's WR's can do more after the catch underneath. OG's get beyond coverage but Wynn can't hit him for his life half the time.

Why do people gripe about not finding a place for a QB or HB?
I realize there are other dots without human owned homes, but far too many of the homeless are homeless because of bad choices.

You essentially have to. Good luck finding hundreds of different people who want to make Punters and kickers just so your QB has a home.

You'd be wrong.

The bigger issue IMO is that there is no fresh blood in the game. I have toons on several teams and it's pretty much the same owners here, there and everywhere. As I stated in another thread: more inbred than an Amish speed dating event.
I said back in GLB1's early days that endgame for Bort would look like about fifty enthusiasts playing amongst themselves. We're perilously close to that endgame. Each banal season, each unfettered jackass on the forums, each unresolved technical issue nudges us ever closer to an unsustainable future.
