With that said, I do have a playbook to stop QB runs, I just assumed we would roll over Nebraska with our base playbook. Obviously I was wrong.

Well, back a few rounds ago after Yorick both clinched the playoffs and their playoff opponent got locked in (seriously, the last third of our season didn't matter), I just threw together a so-so gameplan as my defaults and quit making any specific plans for opponents until the playoffs.

Leaves me more time for snarky comments on the forums

My league has been locked for a while and we already beat enough teams to stay atop the top 5. I'm pretty content on rolling with that for the season.

Yorick's angst is not scoring a TD in the 1st quarter. All but one of our losses has been that slow start. I suspect this is because we're so one dimensional that if the defense is stopping us early, it's just going to keep happening all game long.

On the other hand, if we do score in the 1st quarter, we're really, really hard to beat because we score a whole lot of points if your defense can't stone us.

that didn't follow suit in the d'haran game, defense did ok holding you until the 4th haha, then you put up 35....

Oh, and you're not the 1st team to give up 35 points in the 4th to us. Like I said, if we're scoring, it's fast. For example, in Lincoln, the two best teams are Yorick and Denver. Yorick has put up 521 points. Denver only 392. But Yorick's also been shut out or nearly shut out a bunch of times. So it really is a total feast or famine thing.

In our first game they ran with the QB 14 times

The second game they game planned better than I did, no QB runs, and we were still in it until http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/50167/2444441

so really im only counting the 2nd game as a loss. I don't really count QB rush teams as "teams" on here. My brother asked why we don't do it and I told him I have more fun watching my team run and pass like an NFL team.

But at the end of the day, teams still will run it with their QB so I have to find a way to stop them. *sigh*

and idk what list you're talking about. That might be your bad English coming into play though since I have no idea wtf you're talking about.

NFL is allowed to do more with their rushing QBs since its real life. Option plays, pass plays that are actually planned scrambles, etc. On here, its QB rollout strong from GL. HOW FUN!

And how's it an excuse saying they game planned better than I did? I changed some things from our first matchup, so did they. We got beat. And it wasn't by some lame rollout gimmick.
