So, trying a 50+ yarder and somehow making them makes the kicker... better? I am sure my kicker is capable of making one, although since I know the cost of a missed FG is far greater than the benefit of trying one. Are you trying to make a team player, or a just a guy that tries kicking anything inside 40 yd line?

Speaking of 'stupidity,' I can't wait to see well your S* kicker does in his rookie season, if you ever decide to make one.

XAV your input here is not worth much as your kicker has not 1 kick over 40 yards. lol, no 50 yard kicks, no 40 yard kicks...his max kick has been 39 yards. Wow. Awesome. My kicker actually gets tested from all distances, and has made more 50 yard kicks then almost any kicker in the game probably, because they are all so bad apparently virtually NONE of them can make a 50 yard kick, while mine can and does.

My kicker does this:

ie. kicking last second field goals to get the game into overtime.
and again:

and he wins games too:

MVP usually just means either the team is terrible, and thats the one guy on that team that does anything, or in a kickers case, the team is dominant and he just kicks short field goals over and over. It means nothing.

See above.

What do you think is more valuable? Randomly making long field goals or saving the team from losses and/or winning games?

I'm 99.99999% sure my kicker can make 50 yard FG's as he has solid FG power and tons of accuracy. I'm also 99.999999% sure I don't care.

This is the very firstest intelligent thing you've said in this entire thread. I guess there is hope for you yet.

but your kicker is no better then mine, with a bunch of short field goal attempts on some dominant team, and not 1 long field goal made...so your input on the issue of making long kicks, is almost non-existent...otherwise you would have a guy making a ton of long field goals..instead you have a guy with 0 lol

Or not...

lol...you lose. Until any of you have a kicker make even 1 50 yard+ field goal it really doesnt matter. If your kickers were so awesome you would be kicking 50+ yard field goals all the time. But you hide behind "field position"...fact is you know your guy wont hit routinely from that distance so you dont even have the balls to try. Pathetic.

I do, and try to figure out how to fix the kicking game and I get moronic responses lol

Classic.

Until your guy hits even 1 50, let alone 1 40+ yard FG, you cant say he is any better than mine. Easy kicks mean nothing...my guy hits late 4th quarter and overtime kicks too. My guy also actually hits lots of kicks from 40+ and even 50+...your guys leg dies at 39 yards apparently...or you are too afraid to try him over that distance...either way is not good. Same goes for most of you...again...I bet none of you have a single kicker that has kicked even 1 FG over 50+ yards. I know more on this then most people since I put more time in on the kicking game then most. So dont give me stupid nonsense fools. I know what I am talking about. Keep wishing for a 50 yard FG lol

Where do you get this "all the time" at? You have hit 1 50+ yarder. It's amazing when pretty much everyone says you are a dumbass for trying long FGs but you don't see how its a problem. Continue to be a sub .500 team with your long FG misses, the rest of us will continue to win by playing smarter.
