i have nothing to do with running the lounge team - we ran the dark scrims to learn the game - if you think it's bush league i guess i'd have to say 'agree to disagree' - and last I saw there was a 'resign' button on coaching jobs ... now I don't have a team in Oberon so if you guys don't care about conflict of interest it means nothing to me

most of what I see is that the old guard, which is famously unhelpful and condescending on the 'help related' forums, is feeling threatened/annoyed by whatever you think Xavori accomplished last year and doesn't want him in your club. Trust me, he's annoying as shit on your shoe and he's impervious to outside input so whatever he did last year for the LL team he did on his own and if he's caught up with you it may be your skillz and knowledge are not as inaccessibly lofty as you thought.

He's become incredibly insufferable so if you can stop him you'll be doing everyone a favor

at some point he will be scrimmigable. And until then, we will wait and wait. And then pounce.

Mark my words DADDY, you WILL be scrimmaged. And you will not like it.

That's what I see too, Rom. They don't know even know how our team operates and who makes play calling decisions on either team. This obsession with Xavori suggests they just don't like a new kid on the block; they have no desire to engage us on an equal level.

Contrast that to Eris League where we have been having rivalries and humorous power rankings, etc., and you can see that a lot of this has to do with very fragile ego.

I could really care less about what Xavori or anyone accomplishes and that game as it was wasn't even going to be a good game regardless with Daddy's situation at that point. We were going to lose. I just like jabbing with Xavori really. But you can continue to throw a bunch more excuses for why you randomly picked a mid 30 ranked (at the time) team to scrimmage on the same day as the Lounge game all you want. Nobody is picking up what you are putting down.

If you make sure the jabbing hurts, bhall, then we're all in agreement. Xavori needs to be jabbed repeatedly. Something has to try to puncture that giant ego. ; )

Trust me. We're not multis.

Hell, the name Vasebreakers is a total dig at me as is the fact that Sar required me to name my QB on Yorick "Quincy Carter".

QCar! Jerry Jones attempt to get a Micheal Vick. Sweet mediocrity.

Galithor -- what's even better: Xavori, a Dallas Cowboys fan, predicted that Quincy Carter would make the hall of fame. Now he disputes saying this, and we have no proof. But I will assure you that he made that prediction and we will never let him live it down. I have players on each team Xavori is involved with, with a reference to Quincy Carter.

Vase breaking is video game, but not football, related. Xavori is right, it is also mocking him (and one of our compatriots IOTB).

I've had Cowboys season tickets for the last 8 years. Selling the PSL this year though. 2 tickets doesn't do me much good as a family man.

Why is it when people tell the Quincy Carter story, they always leave out the word "potential".

And Quincy did have potential Hall of Fame ability. How was I to know he was failing drug tests left and right?

*sigh*

There was that one year they went 13-3. That was pretty cool. But yeah.
