Not sure why it matters which is more exciting as this has nothing to do with the sim itself. The scheduling and bowl shit is nonsense when it comes to comparisons.

Your forgetting a few things:

Mandatory 25% changeover for every team each season
Closer identification with teams
Sense of conference pride and arguments over which is better supported by a bowl system

Either way... I don't see a good reason not to have a system that supports both fans.

I'm not forgetting those things. They just aren't things that are in any way appealing.

Among the fact that those last 2 aren't in any way better than how it currently is.

Who cares if YOU quit. There are more college football fans then NFL fans. College games are MUCH more entertaining than NFL games.

lol..uh no, there aren't. The NFL is the most profitable league on EARTH with 8 billion in profits per year...or something like that...maybe 20 billion...its not even close. College is secondary, and pretty much a complete mess in terms of competitiveness, which is why this OP has taken 25 posts to try to write one idea...because its a dumb idea just as confusing and rediculous as the college landscape which I have no interest in.

And also, I could care less if people "care" or not..im just stating a fact. I quit GLB 1 like a year ago and it wasnt until I saw an add on my browser about GLB2 that it reminded me to check again...and not surprisingly I saw multiple people on the forums who also just came back since they also quit or forgot all about GLB1. So, if you go and do stupid things and make the game more like GLB1...those people will be gone again. Not everyone is interested in college crap, and GLB1 being more similar to college games with rediculous 100-0 scores and other nonsense is one of the reasons myself and others QUIT. No reason to add in confusing college crap, especially when they still need to fix some of the most basic things in the regular game still...I doubt they ever implement this, and rightfully so. But maybe in 5 seasons or something.

Couple Points If I may:

I do care if you quit, which is why I think it should be in parallel with the current system ie if you like the current league setup in a pro style by all means keep doing so, on the other hand plenty of people passionate about the college game.

The GLB1 infamous 255-0 was nuisance, that had more to do with a disparity in overall talent that was "beyond the pale" than anything remotely related to making it look like college. That was one of the reasons I quit GLB1, though not the main one, the constant league shuffling and over bulging rosters took much of the fun out of it.

The NFL has 9.5 billion in revenue , not profit. Two different concepts entirely.

4 Seasons from now would be the perfect time to implement this plan, thus the phrase "long term suggestions", when half the GLB2 universe is operating in veteran leagues and half below it. Its also easier to code a system like this in small increments thus the need to discuss it now as opposed to waiting until the clock starts ticking red.

There is nothing to suggest a college landscape on GLB2 would be less competitive than the current system, especially the way I've set it up. Just more of a team concept which many people happen to enjoy and disparage them all you want but many are college fans who should have a place here as well in my book.

Actually it took me two posts to explain the concept, I'm of course going to defend my idea when someone call its "stupid" or "ridiculous"; among other things. Also while I realize its all the rage to throw insults on forums and in social media these days, it doesn't make your points anymore valid to cloak them with a flaming entourage of disparagement.
