You're slow. He started this thread 2 days before I beat him with a rookie team. It's pretty obvious that this suggestion isn't because of the absolute beat down that a rookie team put on AGDTD, but I still like to remind Jampy of it every chance I get.

My thoughts, too.

Why should we shut QS because 1 team is spamming us? If your team was soph than I would have no problem since I could test things to,

but it was rook, and it was of no benefit to me...

Paraboon is just delusional and thinks everything is about him.

You went pass heavy against a run stopping defense, are you proud? 600 yards but you couldn't win the game? That is the point btw, to win the game.

Why am I turning them off just because I don't want scrims that don't benefit me? More filters should be a positive. This logic all of you keep pushing is senseless.

So because I don't want a pinkie finger, I should chop my whole hand off? That is the logic.

Actually your logic is pretty senseless. I scrimmaged a mid 50's sophmore team because I was interested to see how we competed with someone in that range. I did more scrims because I was interested in some different approaches to your running game. I'm running the quick scrim so it is about what I learn from it and it has nothing to do with you. Nor should it be of any bother to you. Unless you are afraid of losing to a rookie team.

Very strange, when I click this link it does show us winning the game.

Nonsense, everyone knows damn well AGD2D could easily be in top 20 if I gave a hell about ladder games.

It may very well be, but since I wasn't involved in that I would be behind. I just thought it made sense because soph teams probably want to scrim other teams that have the same amount of SP and run the same kind of plays as them. Kind of pointless for a soph to scrim a frosh when different kinds of plays work in frosh to soph. It's like playing a pickup up game, not much to learn. So I think there should be a checkbox to only only scrims with your own tier if you want. I'll let Jamps decide why he started it, but I doubt it is because he got beat by a rookie team, but I could be wrong, doesn't really matter too much the reason, I still support the suggestion.

Are you from the US or in high school? (no offense, real questions, because this is really simple and common)

Frosh = freshman = 1st year, akin to rookie. Pretty easy conclusion to draw I think...

lmao, you were posting left and right about how high ranked AGD2D was right up until you started getting beat down in the ladder. You guys are ranked right where you should be, a team that can contend for a league championship in the right division but will never sniff the top 10 in the ladder.

Seems like common sense doesn't it? What does this have to do with anything?

Ladder rank isn't the end all be all of team rankings in glb lol... Sure ladder is cool, but I still know if the #1 team were to play the #10 team, its not an auto win...

Winning the National Championship is much harder than winning the Conference Championship.

that's, uh, exactly what it is.

if anything, you should care /more/ about ladder games than league games, seeing as your league is a collection of arbitrarily assigned teams which may or may not be terrible, whereas the ladder is a fair, constant set of games to determine who the best teams in the game are.

focusing on league games over the ladder is some small time shit. it's like being happy winning the sun belt and ignoring the ncaa tournament.

it's just one in a long line of reasons why no one takes you seriously in this VRY SRS BIZ of dotball part 2.

Not rly, with all the problems with it, its just a raw ranking method imo, sure it has merit, but no, it's definitely not the final straw.

the #10 team on the ladder is not the 10th best team in soph, (random # choice), and in some cases, the ladder spot doesn't even rep the teams ability well... But this threads getting OT as it isn't about ladder.
