Yeah I get that for most plays. But any mediocre QB IRL is gonna spot a guy left totally uncovered right away. If there's gonna be a way to assign coverages at the line to avoid uncovered WRs, the QBs should have some kind of check for people left willfully uncovered, just like any real QB would do. The passing game might be over powered right now, but nearly unblockable defenses aren't the right answer.

Hey hey hey now, lets not pretend passing needs to get easier. Its a simulation where you can't adjust mid-game (or even in some cases roster wise) yourself.
Running will get better over time, I think improving blocking coverage in combination with more outside of a sack pressure on the QB possible makes more sense.
Qbs already go through their checkdowns with skills and SA's which works more than well enough even at shitty levels it seems (like < 10/10 cond/energy).

in glb1 there was... its a tad bit unrealistic imo..
in a heavy blitz situation you're gonna go either go through your checkdowns as fast as possible,
or you will straight away go to your dump pass... Having a auto hit wide open receivers is just asking for trouble...

Not sure what any of that meant, especially the <10/10 part

If you can still throw 50% with shitty stats and 10 morale and 10 energy something is wrongz
The defense shouldn't get sacks for free but making plays should be more immediately meaningful

The other thing is a receiving awareness to change a route for WR's. based on the blitz.

Except when bad teams play, when do you see uncovered receivers at the beginning of a play?
I don't.

I agree, my teams QB has the highest compl% in the league... He plays the majority of games at <50 conditioning.

no it doesn't
"LB Dogs - Short 2-3WR Pass/Run Man Defense"
it won't fire unless 5WR is in the description

That description must just be a suggestion. Because 3-3-5 Dogs All Go says it's a short 3WR defense and it was just used all game vs Air Raid's 5 WR sets.

I just told you guys, their is a way to make plays that don't fit the description fire.

You don't have guys uncovered, if the blitzer has a guy to cover he covers him if not then he blitzes. It leaves you at 100% man on WRs and has 6 guys pass rushing.
