That seemed like it had more to do with the CB play than his snap reaction. If you freeze-frame it early, he often gets going a frame or two before his WR counterparts, but a few frames later he doesn't have any better separation than the other receivers. The cushion looks more based on bad CBs than anything.

The moral of the story is, yes, snap reaction can get you a better jump. But it won't do you a whole lot of good without the associated speed and agility skills to take advantage of that good start.

Seems to work better for my DL guys that it does for my DE.

The guy above rarely just blows by the OT by beating him off the line, in fact he hesitates a lot of the time unlike some of my DTs who have 40+ SR and are on a Power or Combo setting.
