I just did a hard refresh. If it was a caching issue, the cache is holding much longer than 12 hours.

Heh, found a potential bug in it, not sure if that would be causing it though.

I thought it would keep it more interesting and fresh if it was actually different each season and every player had a legitimate chance.

That said, adding a "career" thing would be easy enough down the line if the current season to season thing isn't well received.

We do have a season to season thing...it's called MVP. Maybe we can have an All-Pro team for each season.

Here is my suggestion.

Have an All-Pro team for each League every year.

At the end of the players' careers, have a Hall of Fame Wing created for that specific "class of players" and put the best players from that group into the Hall of Fame Wing. Something like Class #1 Wing (all the current sophomores), Class #2 Wing (all the current rookies), etc...

Corndog it's not just HOF. There is a bug with the league leaders too. Some of the guys in my league are ranked correctly in the bio. Some are not.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out why.

They have ranking values in the database, but it's just not translating to the site for some reason.

Gotcha! I didn't see this thread until after I posted mine in the bugs.

The #1 offensive player (QB) in the HoF is Soph with 13 TDs and 1925 yards.

My rookie Qb has 19 tds and 1920 yards, yet am 85th.

What's the point in a seasonal HoF for "balance" if you can't ever catch a sophomore because their stats are systematically more "valuable than yours"

If it's going to be rigged anyway than why not make it career so it can be equally rigged? Rank retired dots as they retire and dont tell someone what their rank will be until after they retire. Legends season games in that league dont count.

Keep in mind I am only one season behind. What happens to two, three, four season pixels?

This is why I said there should be a HOF Wing for each "class of players". You go into the HOF class with which you end your career....this will take care of the issue if some players take a year or two off and come back to finish their career. Just decouple every "class".

Ex: All the current sophomores will go into Class #1 Wing, all current rookies will go into Class #2 Wing, etc...

Also, you shouldn't have a HOF for each season...that doesn't make sense. HOF is a "Career Award"...not seasonal. Make an All-Pro team for each league each season.

Lets say I showed you two QB statlines.

93.8 QBR | 56.8% Completion | 15 TD | 1928 YDS | 0 INT
101.6 QBR | 53.4% Completion | 27 TD | 2473 YDS | 1 INT

Which is the better season? Seems obvious enough to me.

The top QB is #1 in the Offensive HoF this season.
The bottom QB is #59.

The #58 QB has 1000 yards and 6 TD's to put things in perspective. Can we fix this before the problem gets even worse and Season 5 dots are permanently 300th on the ladder even if they have the best season in all of GLB2 history.
