If passing TDs are 6pts I'll take a QB early, but when they're 4pts, no.

You won 10 leagues last year? What did you find the 10 leagues that had completely inactive teams and join them? QBs and WRs are fairly easy to get on the waiver wire. Finding a GOOD RB isn't. Going with match ups with RBs is not as easy as with QBs and WRs. You have more of a chance of success with QBs and WRs than with RBs because most of the starters aren't on the waiver wire and if they are it's due to injuries or completely flopping out on the season.
I wouldn't touch Rodgers or Calvin outside of mid to late first round (and this really is determined by the type of league), AFTER Peterson, Foster, Lynch, Charles, Martin and Spiller are off the board.

Anyone that has drafted QB's in the 1st round ... doesn't understand the logic behind maximum point value. I could write a damn book on it, but there would still be someone here (that doesn't know any better) trying to argue it. If you feel that confident, then lets take 1K cash, and go to Vegas .... Let's see how it ends.

well go draft martin with your 1st round and shit the bed, i don't care. and me personally i draft RB 1st and 2nd round...EVERYTIME...so no i didn't join inactive leagues i'm just not going to draft martin, i don't give a fuck if he's still on the board in the 2nd road i'm not going to draft him. " BUT HE SCORED 261 FANTASY POINTS LAST YEAR HOW STUPID ARE YOU!?!?" everyone has a fluke year, he's from fuckin boise state and the buccaneers have josh freeman as their quarterback, the only good thing going for martin is that they play the saints and panthers twice each.
also worthy of mentioning there's always a running back on the waiver wire that nobody drafted that fills in for someone and breaks out, look at alfred morris last year, did anybody draft him? and if so was it before the 6th round? how well did he do? you can find quality players from the waiver wire regardless of what position it is, yeah you're going to have more opportunity's with quarterbacks because there's so fucking many of them and most league's only have 1 spot for starting QB leaving people like matt stafford or tony romo on the waiver wire sometimes and especially this year when everyone's so high on russell wilson/rg3/luck.
whole point being is that i'm not drafting martin, that was the point that i was making.i don't give a shit whether he's been drafted on average 6th in every mock draft or if you're not supposed to draft a WR or QB in the first round...good for them, let him be someone elses headache, if top 5 running backs are off the board and martin is still there i'm not going to draft him over someone like aaron rodgers or calvin johnson cause drafting anyone else at the 6th spot (if all 5 people before you take running backs) is a reach and not guaranteed where someone like aaron rodgers or calvin johnson will both produce every single fucking week. It has nothing to do with position, it has to do with martin as a football player and a fantasy option, and i'm not going to draft him, he's either going to average 90yds and 1td or get injured. ..i can find better value at the 6th spot for that

maybe you should look at the other thread in this forum and see that i suggested someone pick RB first. you should learn how to read and comprehend things before speaking on them because you look like a dumbass everytime you talk without actually understanding what's being argued.

Not anywhere in the post you quoted, did I say your name .... good job comprehending again. And I still have yet to be called stupid in this thread ... You have been, by numerous people, as well as the other thread going in "Football". You try too hard, and you just get made to look a fool every time. You don't understand FF, and proved that by me having to explain scoring to you ..... Just give up man. Its a never ending laugh fest, every time you post .... so kudos for creating entertainment for the rest of us, if nothing else
