this is something both bhall and i have done some loose pushing on. dont see it happening of course ..

would like to see this along side 45 dot rosters and force teams to have identities based on roster decisions. though i think you'd probably lose STOPs in this process and perhaps nothing would change.

Everyone wants a solution but the reality is this game is 5 years old now and most of us are barely here burning flex away anymore. Congrats to HHWC. Can't say I have a clue about the game right now but these guys have always been the top of the class. Not bad for a bunch of old has beens.

48 would be a better target than 45. I can't imagine getting down to 45.

Not that we're the NFL, but NFL active roster on gamedays is 45 + 3rd string QB.

I like the idea of 45. Would force some build changes too. You'd lose STOPS, but stamina would become more important.

Is this change going to bring in new users? No.
Is it going to further complicate things for existing users? Yes.

I think the way to go is fewer offensive formations, with more plays

There is only so much you can do with a formation before the plays become highly redundant. It isn't that I don't agree with you on a DC's perspective, but there has to be better solutions than that.

NFL is using starters a lot more consistently than GLB. In GLB backups actually see the field regularly.

you still have 4 left which could potentially be

a 2nd RTE
a 2nd BTE
an extra CB
an offensive FB
a LB
etc
