No, it goes by seeding. So its the 9th seed in the other conference if the other 9th is already in.

If a playoff team in the World League decides to reset their team and move to a lower level, priority will be given to the 9th place team in their conference. If that team does not wish to stay in the World League, priority is then given to the highest seeded non-playoff team.

That's what I thought, but apparently it does not go by seeding after all. Both Hood and HHWC were #10 (right?) ..

It goes by conference... been through this before with some of our teams. Conformed by catch22 and support....

"Best record in the same conference with a request in" this team takes Excel's place. whoever it was... I think it was Buda.. then HHWC.. then?

By the reading, I believe they go to tiebreaker rules after the 9th slot. Hood 9-7, HHWC 8-8
