Sure why not. What does being a mod have to do with anything? We played them last season and they beat us this same way so I do not understand why people keep letting it happen but I guess I am optimistic about my combo QB if we can make it to WL. From my experience having a few players on WL teams and doing a little coordinating there are only a few teams, if any, who can make the postseason without gameplanning for just about every game but maybe I am wrong about this.

Yeah, there are probably at least 8 teams who will make the playoffs with hardly any game planning at all. Maybe a few more?

Look, I started out gameplanning for every game, we were trying to win almost every game., but then we choked in the playoffs so it was wasted for nothing. if i can make ther playoffs with 50% of that care or less, then why the hell not? last season was much less than 50% care. Its to the point now where I dont even log in to GLB on the weekends besides from my phone. so chances are if i have a WL game on the weekend, i dont gameplan much for it. I just cant make myself care about it. I didnt understand how WL vet could go through the season not trying, until i gameplanned all season and lost in the first round, amde the whole season of trying worthless.

Probably about right, along with another 4 to 6 who make it by game-planning here and there. Game-planning can work wonders for an individual game, but for a WL season you need roster quality and solid base AIs.

yeah thats pretty fair assessment. i certainly pick and choose; knowing eventually it's going to cost us a season. its not really sustainable to go full bore every game nor is it usually necessary once you've got some solid foundation to work off of.

the pipe-dream is that with a harder Pro system that coordinators will have all those kinks worked out and be broken of all their bad habits by the time they make it here. but as it stands, most really struggle to adjust in WL. if you can survive that first season things start clicking as to what it takes ...

I don't know what gets someone over the hump. Teams like SSM and Sumatra are good squads with involved owners and yet haven't been able to stick.

stepping back and thinking about how you can work smarter and not harder ... that was the big light bulb moment for me.

granted, the end result has still been the same. but im a lot more relaxed

The one time I didn't game plan this season, we lost to a winless team. I'm not good enough to win without a little effort. I suck as a DC so I have to make up for it with trying to outscore people which means I have to watch games and find holes. I feel like I do that pretty well. The rest of you can slack lol. And to be fair to Padre's Parrish that hole they had was not a rushing QB hole, it was a blocking TE hole out of SG formation that left WR2 uncovered. If you'll notice, I rotated the passing QB and rushing QB and both were effective.

fwiw I could beat any Madcow team without any effort. Just throw a promo at them and it's money in the bank.
