I like the choice of a QB as it adds more strategy. With this many teams the flex is often filled with a back-up running back, a receiver that might only get a couple looks all game, or a kick returner. Why not let guy try to load up with 2 good QB's knowing he's going to be searching the waiver wire each weak for a serviceable RB.

I think with the ability to play two QB's makes the draft more interesting...do you take a 2nd QB before you nab a WR or TE? Could a guy draft some good RB's but get stuck with a horrible QB...sure, but it's his draft and his team.

Ya, that's what I was thinking, but since it is a big change from standard flex positions, so wanted to get other opinions as if everyone hated it, I would change it back to normal. I'll probably leave it, unless a bunch of people chime in to say they hate it.

Flex positions should only be RB/WR or even TE's. QB's would basically change the entire draft around and value QB's much heavier than the rest of the players. I would draft 3 starting QB's then to really take up the space and use them as trade bait.

That's why I reduced the value of QB's to be more inline with a good RB or WR. Consider this...

On a GOOD day...

RB = 100 yards, 2 TD (10 points for 100 yards, 5 bonus points for reaching the 100 yard mark, 12 points for 2 TD's = 27 points)
WR = 100 yards, 1 TD, 6 receptions. (10 points for 100 yards, 5 bonus points for reaching the 100 yard mark, 6 points for 1 TD, 6 points for 6 receptions = 27 points
QB = 300 yards, 2 TD (12 points for 300 yards, 5 bonus points for reaching the 300 yard mark, 8 points for 2 TD's = 25 points)

As you can see, a good day by a RB or WR will get you a few more points than a good day by a QB. So while you can get two top QB's, that might hurt you if you have to settle for lower level RB's or WR's, but it does give more options for bench players, which is why I like it.

That's sort of my point, bmac...there is now more strategy involved. If you want to get 3 QB's...go for it, maybe you can end up with a better RB or WR that way than through drafting.

With Gerr's scoring I don't see the problem since the positons are equal. Since a good 3rd RB can score as well as a good 2nd QB then it's all about your draft strategy.

Reminder...draft is this evening!!!

If you can't make it, pre-rank your players so the auto-draft system picks the way you want.

Looks like the ESB's BFD are in mid-season form already - 157 points - and with Brady still in the hutch for tomorrow night!

Scores were higher than expected, but nothing wrong with that. Seems like an A-level performance by any player or defense will be in the 30's, a B-Level in the 20's, a C-level in the teens, D-level in the single digits, and F is zero. I can live with that scoring system.

Only issue I see is that defenses are earning more than expected, but since the season is already started, not going to change anything, so just make sure to note this.

And EDB, it always stings to have the 2nd highest point total for the week, but lost to the team that had the highest point total...

I had the second highest total with 170+...edb had 190... third was less my opponent with 160. It was fun to get that first week in .
