well I should've figured I wouldn't be taken serious here.....I listen to many different types of music. I spent my life working for chain music stores. ( i even played in a punk band back in the day...). But I realized what you need to become famous. and I realize why the MAJORITY of people like this stuff. because peoples mind WANT to follow a formula.

Nickelback sounds like nobody from say, 20 years ago. No one. why? because they looked over top 10 hits from the past 30 years and studied them to see what made them so special. he took that concept, and combined it with a pearl jam influence (something that they never could do correctly, hence their lack of stardom)
Nickelback took everything about a top 40 song, and perfected it. you talk about music evolving, if everyone took a dump onstage and fed it through a shitty P.A. system, thene every band would sound like punk garbage. kind of like almost EVERY band DOES sound like at the shitty rock venues.
so what difference does it make.

The music I listen to is much crappier TBQH.
