I wouldn't predict any of the eventual top 10 teams to be demoted personally (after Jam boosts I'll assume they wind up in the top 10).

Which means the next 22 are probably fighting for 6 spots. I'm just glad BDC has 20ish dots with boosts left and some of those will still be earning levels and we'll likely be in the top 20 to start the season. Means there is a chance.

I dont need reasoning, the smurfs have been able to stay in the w/l for now going on 3 seasons while being in the bottom 10 every season., And every season, a top Eff team demotes, thats just what happends

I dont need reasoning, the smurfs have been able to stay in the w/l for now going on 3 seasons while being in the bottom 10 every season., And every season, a top Eff team demotes, thats just what happends

yeah, i agree. if the statistical correlation isn't 1, then it must be 0.

Well.

No, that's not what I'd call a sound argument.

The more reasonable argument imo is that a few teams are able to swim upstream.

EL would mean more if it wasn't so widely swung by Cs, Ps, & Ks.

But you said "if they meant anything", more or less they are a pretty good indication of the quality of the team. Obviously in some cases shitty teams have great k/p's and 4 C's, and much better teams will have a lower eff level. But I'm pretty sure every team that has won the WL has been in like the top 3 or 4 in the league, gotta mean something.

its a good indicator of player builds, but thats not all that makes a good team. some teams do more with less.

It would mean more if all teams carried the exact same amount of roster spots (ie every team had 4 centers, 4 guards, 6 DEs, etc), but as it stands it really doesn't mean much. Hell my team was avg level 70 a few years ago and one of the highest ELs in the game... but we had over 9000 OLinemen playing as STOPs...
