But yea, I feel bad for both blaze/saigon for having to play in round 2. Though to be fair the odds are they'd have to play at some point so it's not that big a deal because is losing round 2 really a big difference from losing in round 3? Still no trophy.

You realize that only matters if you let it get to you, don't ya? You make the 2nd round of the POs and you are one of 8 teams that every other team in the game wishes they were. Ppl can talk all they want about which conf is the toughest, and I think damn near everyone here agrees that Zeta gets the edge. Still, there are at least 22 damn good teams here, and you can make a case that # is 26. Hell, even the 27-29 teams would probably win a decent share of PLs. You make it to 8 left and you did something p damn good. The only way someone trash talking you about that matters is if your epeen has insecurity issues.

Probably the two best teams, but 90% is definitely overrating both Saigon and Chocolate. The winner of your game is lucky though that Osaka and Indy lost in the first round. Guess that % would have gone way down without the scrubs in the other second round matchup.

Ooofda, this was a brutal season. MJ would have gone 13-3 min over in Alpha...took me 3 times as long each game to plan for Moose than it did for Smurfs. Zeta is crazy good and mad props to all that survived it to make the playoffs.

Agree with PP. 8 teams left, all are capable of beating other teams. At this stage, conference depth is no longer an issue, teams that made it this far all deserve props.

Oh yeah, it's complete insecurity. If that's the case, everyone that loses in the WL must be a bit insecure.

You obviously didn't grasp the point. The point was you're 1 of 8 teams the rest of GLB can only wish they were....Allowing someone to successfully trash talk you (allowing them to get into your head) over that is flat out ridiculous. Out of the approximately 2436 teams in this game (# of leagues * 28, allowing for 4 CPU teams per league), you were only better than 99.7% of all the teams in GLB. There may have been 00.33%-00.29% that were better than you...Learn how to play dot ball, scrub! BTW, that didn't count casual or pee wee....You'd be at 99.8+ and 00.1ish if you counted them too.

How ridiculous it is to try to trash talk someone over that and even more so to let it get to you was the point...Disappointed to lose in the 2nd round? Sure, maybe even pissed, but actually take someone seriously for trashing you for it???

I did get the point. Equating annoyance related to ignorant comments made on the forums doesn't always = Insecurity. Insecurity is really just a cop out for actually understanding the situation.

Last season, if Saigon was in Zeta (the weak conference at the time), I could assure you we would have at very least made the conference championship game.

Same goes for both teams this season. If either was in Alpha, this would likely be the championship game matchup.

BS....You can assure anything because you weren't. That's like saying if you didn't turn the ball over 15 times you would have won some game. You have no clue. No one outside of NAV would have picked them to come out of Zeta last ssn, but they did. You have a DAMN good team, but I'm afraid the days of any team being unbeatable by most of the other WL teams are WAY long gone. Blaze has a damn good team and the Shockers struggled all ssn long and are demoted, yet they beat blaze. Sure, it was reg ssn, but according to the PM I got from Dpride after, it's not like he didn't try to win that game. He sure the hell didn't want to go 0-2 and doing so appeared to be freaking him out a bit.

shit happens. The best team on paper doesn't always win. the best team on paper that puts out a better GP doesn't even always win. teams get RNGed, which seems to happen in the POs even more than in reg ssn.

Still, none of that has anything to do with my point....Call it insecurity or annoyance. Shit man, neither happens unless you allow it to happen. I'm sure not trying to say I'm above letting others annoy me either, but to let someone annoy you because you were beat in the 2nd round of the WL POs is ridiculous, IMO.

I'm done now. My real point was always don't let it bug ya. You have one MFer of a team to be where you are right now, whether you lost in the 2nd round last ssn or win or lose in the 2nd round this ssn, it's still one hell of a team. That was my point. you're just getting hung up on the epeen comment.
