OG Danny "Lockdown" Hughes
Link: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=189578
Awards: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_awards.pl?player_id=189578
Rationale: With 2,300+ career pancakes for this mauler on the right side, Hughes spent most of his career in USA AAA and USAPL (with the Washington Wolfpack and the Lincoln Navigators) before heading to the WL with Lincoln for Seasons 12 & 13 and then on to WEPL for his final season. The definition of a run-blocking guard, he always matched up against hole-plugging NT's and was always winning battles to clear a path for his running back. He was consistently ranked as the best, or among the top 5 guards in his league since the rankings were implemented, and he continued to dominate well into his decline.

Where's your hall of fame dot? It's not like you're a spring chicken. Even more, your dots were slow built. Whereas Hughes was semi.

Level advantage? What kind of retard argument is that? He wasn't level advantaged against his opponents when he was playing. In fact, his final season - 2nd in skill loss - he still led the conference in pancakes.
He's the most decorated guard in the game's history.

The DT is far from average, he's one of the better ones in the game, I'd objectively suspect.
The HB is pretty average though, just didn't work out as I hoped. Then again, almost power backs are terrible in the version of the game that's existed the past several seasons.

Washington Rain, you have been given a free pass to avoid this thread. You did what all the other teams should have, congrats.

Exactly. There's a reason this thread is titled as it is. If your club name has Osaka or Mayan Prophecy in it, you are all the more terrible. Our two losses should demonstrate this.

We only (mis)used half the flaws in your defense. But in all honesty - I did spent a considerable time planning our offense for this match...
