the Line and LBers are better than they were last year as is the Oline, RBs, Safeties, and WRs.

the QB position is responsible for 20 passes max this year. hatch and lee are both capable of doing this plus. LSU will do more than contend my friend...

Whatever buttpaste boy. LSU is Da Best... yadda yadda yadda. You LSU fans are insane. 2 loss champions, whatever.

insane with 2 BCS championships in the the 2k decade...
play in a real conference and we can talk.

LoL. CUM is a POS. Talk about win at all costs thats the wiener man. Craig is a band wagoner and always has been. Whoever is winning at the time is who he roots for. I will take an aging Coach Bowden over 100 snake oil salesmen any day of the week!

Here is the truth of the college football picture.

WVU won't amount to jack squat. They lost all but 2 of their coaching staff and their offensive playmakers. Maybe they'll get a bowl game, but the Big East will come down to Pitt, Rutgers and maybe Louisville.

I like what Mark Richt has done in Georgia. This could well be their year. (I also hate LSU, mostly because of their fans. Seriously, the way we were treated before and after the Sugar Bowl 2 seasons ago (ND-LSU) was atrocious. Even though they're not a regular opponent or rival, I will ALWAYS cheer against LSU now. They've earned it. And that's saying something.)

I'm calling Oklahoma to win the Big 12. I can't take Texas Tech seriously until they grow a defense.

Florida State is a team in slow decline. The 90s are over, and they've left the 'noles in the dust. The ACC will go to BC, Virginia Tech or possibly Wake Forest. Georgia Tech is the x-factor: Paul Johnson's option is very hard to defend, and he's got more talent to work with than he did at Navy. But the first year of a new system is always rough.

The Big Ten will be a 2-horse race between Ohio State and Illinois. Michigan will essentially be a non-factor this year. Ohio State has history on their side, but Zook is turning the Illini into the SEC North, and I don't think the long-time Big Ten coaches know how to handle that.

USC will win the Pac 10 (again) and probably be in contention for a national championship. You talk about the elite talent and speed of the SEC, but nobody - NOBODY - can reload talent like the Trojans.

Notre Dame will be the best of the Independents, and should actually be vastly improved over last year.

You sure the best Independent won't be Western Kentucky?
I'll say it here, after games @Indiana, @Alabama, @Kentucky, and @ VTech, it's going to be a long season.

i will admit the LSU fans can be pretty bad, and are nothing like saints fans, but i still love my tigers. matter of fact, pretty much any team in the SEC has some pretty bad fans. the rivalries are just so damn bitter that it bleeds over into non conference games. Georgia has a team from hell and whoever wins the UGA UF game will represent the east with a strong showing from UT. Auburn, Bama, and LSU will battle for the west with LSU taking it. I like BC in the ACC with VT nipping at their heels, Rutgers in the big least, Mizzou in the Big 12, and the illini in the Big 10. I could care less about the pac 10 because they are a one team conference, save the ducks on occasion but FUSC will get the nod.

Irony. One of my best football experiences was ND at Tennessee. The UT fans were just plain awesome.
