What did I do here? You mentioned how you are now one of "the cool kids" because you've got your first hypethread. You said it jokingly. I joked along with a line about how you'll never be as cool as the coolest kids. All in the same vein as your comment. Now... does Cobra Kai have some negative equity that will make a throwaway line like that come across as inflammatory? Weeeellllllllllll..... I could see how a small fraction of a minority of people *might* feel that way. But for one small line to lead to this treatise on forum conduct... that's not a little over-reactionary? Now, if the dojo stormed the thread and took over en masse, then I'd see your point. One line that plays off of a stereotype... basically Cobra Kai being a caricature of Cobra Kai.... don't see the huge deal of it.
To sum up: I don't "try" to ruin anything for anyone. I just have Internet Tourette's. Something comes into my head, and I don't have a filter in place to not type it. It's a condition. I'll get back on my meds if it will make things easier on you.
