I think we have a shot of a change, probably not next season though.

But... I would like to have a Suggesstions thread drafted and not make it ALL about Pee Wee and the 1 and dones. We just don't get any sympathy from the agents not involved with Pee Wee and they try to tear the thread apart..

Needs to be more generically worded to cover new agents messing up their builds, sim nerfs.. etc..etc..

I'm still going to +1 it for support of the thread.. I've been slammed at work and haven't had a chance to sit down and word a rough draft yet...

I'm thinking of going non boost and custom and expanding off of EDB league Idea and running a web site that is for teams who do not boost and no custom. We already won a championship in gold and like Thunder was saying why waste all the money in winning another trophy when I can do it for 400 flex points instead of thousands. This is a great Idea getting it reduced but in trhe end a lot of teams will do what they want anyways.

I'm sure your talking just a forum and what-not but I feel as if there is no reason to keep this exclusive to pee-wee if you are going to be even half as devoted to this as your gold standings... it seems like it would likely be a great opportunity even for minors teams to get involved with. (Plus it would expand your options as Pee-Wee teams could face off against level 4 minor teams who fit in to the pee-wee parameters (which is a somewhat common)).

When did I say I was quitting? I think I may have said if I lost another game to game "Fixes" occurring without my knowledge I would be quitting, the game needs to change for the better, but this shouldn't happen half way through a season, this is once again shitting all over the pee-wees, surely half a season being thrown down the drain means nothing to the WL, but to me it means a lot, and what of the teams who had already boosted and bought CE for there one-and-done STOP who may have been rendered completely useless by this change....

Anyway, I was just upset that I called several CB/SS/FS blitzes in a game to find out they had made changes where it was literally impossible for the players to make it into the backfield from where I was blitzing, and a spot I had blitzed from throughout the season on other teams.

I just spent 10-15 minutes throwing this together - and I posted it on my "reserved" 4th post.. I can make changes there from your ideas. I used 42 days just because a Pee Wee player sometimes has to wait until day 42 to be released depending on the contract. Notice how it's not centered around Pee Wee.. I think we will get support from all agents this way. I still think the upfront cost of Pee Wee is too high.. but I doubt if we could get higher flex return and help with custom EQ at once.

Flex Reimbursement (boosting/cEQ) based on player or EQ age.

Creation cost=
100% flex returned

Boosting/EQ cost=
85% flex returned for players/EQ ----- 0-42 days
80% flex returned for players/EQ ----- 43-82 days
75% flex returned for players/EQ ----- 85-122 days
70% flex returned for players/EQ ----- 123 and up

Scenarios that help support this idea.
* New agents that have boosted and have messed up their builds
* New agents that have purchased cEQ in a non major/minor attribute
* Agents that have created players since the new training system and have not maximized their training
* Agents that change their mind on their build plan and decide to retire early
* Agents that have a build plan or idea nerfed by a sim change
* Agents that accidentally assign points to the wrong attribute on cEQ
* Competitive Pee Wee agents who boost and buy cEQ and then retire after 1 season

me and guzz are still planning on keeping the league running next season. I feel confident speaking for both of us in saying that we'd love to have your help.

I would like to just pay my subscription fee of $12.95 a month have our 50-55 players as an owner and designate what agent/agents I want to build what player or build them all myself.

Anyway yeah looks like your on the right track mccollums. I will be sure to keep my opinions to myself in the new thread and go along with the OP.
This will probably go into effect about the time I pack it in! It would be nice addition to start the first season out of Beta in though.

Only problem is that most GOOD agents create their players on Day 40-41 of the previous season. So not only do you have to include the 40 day season, but the Pre-Season and the Off-Season, which could total 20 more days.

My idea...

0-50 days = 90% return on boosting/CEQ.
51-100 days = 80% return on boosting/CEQ
101+ days = 70% return on boosting/CEQ

90% = Normal Pee-Wee agents create their players on the 1st day of the season, which I believe is day -8, which should give them until day 41 to retire their player for the 90% return. This allows all but the most advanced Pee-Wee teams to field a good team and get the max return on boosting/CEQ.

80% = Advanced Pee-Wee agents will create their players the season before and take the 80% return instead of 90% to get a better player. 80% also allows people to try to take their player to the next level, but still take the 80% if they don't sign by the start of the regular season or get released during the normal season. Only those who finish the full 2nd season would get hit with the 70% mark.

Thoughts?

Thanks D~Town - I agree on the monthly fee..I don't like the pricing structure but we'll probably never get that changed.... I never played WoW or anything, but it seems like for 15 bucks a month people get completely addicted and spend hours if not days playing that game. In GLB an addiction like that costs $300 or more a season.

I think the player age starts at day 1 of the season. Looking at my Pee Wee QB, it says created on day 41 but he is only 28 days old.

The %'s I posted were just a stab in the dark.. If Bort agrees, he'll come up with the actual % or discount.

If that's true, then your system is good.

Never noticed that the age didn't correspond to the number of days that player has been around.

Oh, and Mccollums, I doubt that my team gets promoted to Gold (since we're nonboost/nonCE) but it could end up happening cause I'm in one of the lolsilver conferences sitting at 14-0.

But if you want to put a team on there to get the ball rolling and try to gain some momentum, Manhattan Project will not wear CE should we make it to gold.
