Rumor is that the SEC has made a serious push for both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. There's a lot of prestige in the SEC in more sports than football that the Oklahomas match up well with -- like baseball, which has a pretty storied history at Oklahoma State. I know football gets most of the attention when you think about where schools will move, but that's not necessarily what the schools are thinking of. And if the two of them move together, the loss of Texas-Oklahoma rivalry (which they can still schedule as an annual out-of-conference game) ain't such a big deal.

True. Tech has been much stronger the last few years. Either way, it's bound to be exciting.

A&M will come to the SEC if they all leave.


The Texas AD said he didn't want to disband the big 12. He also said he knows if Texas leaves, everyone will. I think that might have some power when the regents meet Tuesday to discuss Texas's future.

Also didn't they say KU, KState, and Baylor would probably join the WAC if a break up happens??
