while i agree it was a good game plan, there are no moral victories...losing by 50 or losing by 1, you dont get anymore of a win regardless of how close it was...

A fine quote! I'll win big or win ugly but it's still a win.

Looks like we have a matchup of division front runners, as well as an intriguing upset bid for a certain news team out of Germany. Let's get to the action.

In our first matchup, we have a nightmare of a game, as the Cauchemars get face off against the Sooners. The Sooners, still suck, but so do the nightmares. In a back and forth battle, Tittle ices the game with his arm late in the game to send the Sooners packing. Cologne escapes with a win.

The Generals are on a win streak, but so are the Lovebirds. Unfortunately, the Generals streak ends at one as they fall head over heals with losing. Venice just has too much firepower. Take the Romantics in a landslide.

The Assassins and Rebels look to show their stuff on the gridiron this week. With the Assassins 1 spot out of the playoffs, they are needing a win. Unforutnately, no one shows up to watch it, as all the real fans have headed down to Longhorn land to watch the Thunder go under. Assassins make quick work of the Rebels to stay in the hunt for the last playoff spot.

The Blackshirts have a head of steam and the Mavs, well the Mavs flat out stink. After a couple of tough matchups the Blackshirts get a break this week and take the Mavs to the woodshed in a laugher. Watch out for the shirts, the season isn't over yet!

Naples or Newark? Newark or Naples? EINHORN IS FINKLE! FINKLE IS EINHORN! Who will win the game? Actually, a better question is who gives a shit? I picked Newark to grab their first victory of the season last week, and they let me down. Not so this week, as they escape with win #1.

The Gangsters have gotten back on track after losing to the Thunder. They look to make it 3 in a row this week as they face off against the Pirates. Even Jack Sparrow can't save the Pirates this week, as they have to walk the plank to yet another loss.

***Upset Special of the Week***
NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! This just in...The News team is on fire, and the Cheetahs have been inconsistent. Recipe for disaster for the Cheetahs? You can bet on it! The News team draws even with the Cheetahs on the year, as Newyark once again enforces his will on an opposing offense.

***Game of the Week***
Well, here it is. The Showdown to Throwdown. The Longhorn Legion and Turin Thunder lock heads in what is sure to be a great matchup. The Thunder still lead the division and look to squelch any rumors that they have gone soft. The Legion dropped a couple of early games and have people wondering if they are for real. The game comes down to the hometown crowd as 83,000 raucous fans at DKR make life miserable for Chris "The Rocket Arm" James. A late pick seals the deal, as the Horns improve to 8 - 2 on the season.

Last Week :
7 - 1
Season :
29-10

Your schedule is brutal in the 2nd half. After Hamburg us and Longhorns and you still have Venice and Rotterdam. Thats a gauntlet. Although I know the Longhorn Legion and us are pulling for you the rest of the way.
