If you get in good dots, I really don't think taking a huge chem hit is that harmful at all....Look at Val last ssn. w_s forgot to renew contracts, loses the entire team, resigns them over the entire off ssn (instead of doing it in 1 shot to max chem return) and goes on to win 20 of 20. D9 had horribly bad chem the 1st 2 ssns here and far from great this past ssn (though much better than the 2 before) and it didn't kill us. I think it does hurt, but not anywhere near as much as most ppl fear it does, unless your team isn't very good to start with. That's when I think it really hurts, taking you from "we got a chance if things break right in this game" to "we lost before the game started" mode.
