Amare and Shaq werent able to stop him either. I can say with confidence as a Spurs fan that we would have lost had you still had Marion who was one of the best defenders on your team. Marion could have contained Parker and Ginobili. Completely adjusting your teams style mid season just doesnt work, and Shaq brought his huge contract that he doesnt deserve with him. You realise the Suns were the laughing stock of the NBA for making that trade? Everyone in Miami instantly became a Suns fan because they were able to get rid of their baggage and bring in a promising young player. Yall got suckered.
Also im not argueing with your points in the Celtics thread as I generally agree with your statements, but dont go around making up statistics.
You claimed that the Celtics held opponets to the least amount of points per game at 93 a game, which is false Detroit was #1 and the Celtics were #2 at 90.3 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/standings?season=2008&group=league&column=avgPointsAgainst&order=false&seasontype=2
Also you stated that the Celtics were second in the league shooting 48% from the field in the regular season. That is false as well, they were 4th at 47.5% http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/statistics?stat=tmcompare&sort=fg%&order=true&league=nba&avg=pg&qual=true&seasontype=2&pos=&season=2008
Try doing a little more research before engraving 'facts' into your arguements. Again I agree with you points but just try to get stats right when using them as a source.
