When I played tee ball we all got a trophy at the end of the season and we never kept score, maybe we should go that approach instead?

Trophies have been made to be something worth seeking, we here at GLB have no history of awarding trophies to undeserving teams, so why start now...

To side with LE on this I think that it would be a real accomplishment if silver took home the gold in the G-S challenge, While we have a team in there that really can't win (Atomic) they are still apart of our silver team and they should be awarded just like the other 7 teams by their side.

Ok, so lets say silver wins it (and my silver team wins MVT), if we were to take out the main trophy it really wouldn't make me feel good to win my own separate trophy (MVT) knowing that silver won it, and all my other silver teammates got nothing. It really defeats the purpose of having teams at all, you might as well just call it free for all who can score the most points on the opposing league.

Interesting take on things... its a sensible argument, god forbid someone think rather than just throw their ego all over the forums...

Maybe only teams with +PD should get the trophy, essentially teams that aided their League to victory.

No disrespect to the teams that DID join but part of the reason I didn't submit my team to try to get in was because a lot of elite Gold teams weren't taking part in it. Not to say we were an elite team coming into this season, we've been a one/two and out in the Gold playoffs every year. But had it been a more elite list I may have gotten all "band of brothers" and put my team's name in the hat just for pride really.

We have a Tourney Games and so do you, If we can't win in the Tourney, then I doubt we could beat you 3 out of 5. We will see.
I actually sent you a scrim if you check your alert in box, for the day we would be available. I am sure you you can see it in alert.
After I guess it was only 24 hours, I canceled to move on.

We will play ya before the season closes out though.

Yeah I called you out because you made it sound like the Gold-Silver Challenge was like powder puff games and no one deserved trophies. IMO It is far from the truth and very competitive. Most of these Teams that made the qualifying cut to even be in the Tourney I am sure will be in Gold next season or at the very least the Championship Game in there League.

Jack and I are always up for a game win or lose.
