THL put up great numbers against Warsaw of the WL- I'd be happy to accept any challenges from other WL teams to see if they can stop him. I pimp THL because I firmly believe he WOULD be putting up Gene Thornton type stats in the WL had he not stuck with my team out of loyalty. His greatness can obviously still be up for debate- what can't? - but his team is more than wiling to give him an opportuinty to prove the naysayers wrong.

Accepted! Thanks for giving THL the opportunity.

Couple things:

THL is obviously a damn good player but he's crippled his argument to be the best ever by not playing against the top competition. Levels don't always tell the tale because a high leveled player with a shit build is still a shit build. If he's playing against equal or higher leveled players now it's because of one of the following reasons:

1- Shit builds that got rejected from WL/Pro teams
2- Crap Coordinating/gameplanning from the team
3- Team loyalty
4- Desire to stat pad

While being loyal to a team is admirable (though didn't you make a thread complaining because Lincoln wouldn't sign him?) in GLB most of the time you have to choose between team loyalty and elite competition. If you don't play against the best you can't be considered the best.

I also agree with Hulk. You should be able to get on a WL team next season and really show what he can do against a stacked schedule with people gameplanning all the time.

So true. People are spinning left and right (no pun intended). If it was just the perfect combination of the SA and Build, there wouldn't be such a % of people doing it so consistently and well. If Alloy says that something is overpowered, you can pretty sure it is..because he's the current master of milking the sim for all it's worth.

Needs to play a full season in the WL to be in this conversation for real.

Have you seen what Warsaw said about THL? Not only does that show they're a class act, it should at the very least indicate this conversation is "for real." You're a GM for Cincinnati- get them to throw out a challenge and see first hand. There's lots of talk here about "you've got toplay against the best to be the best." Fine- I'll shell out the flex to help my friend prove his mettle against every WL team. If ever there's been motivation to shut a guy down isn't this thread doing just that? Probably moreso than a standard regular season WL game IMO. Valhalla stepped up and I thanked him for the opportunity. Are you going to let them speak on your behalf?

Again, this is not about my team- I expect to lose every one of these games- we aren't to your level yet. But THL is and we'd all like to chance to prove it.

Heh, I am nervous about the game. If THL can get more than 100 yards, with above a 4.0 ypc, I think I'll be happy with that. On the other side of things, if you totally shut THL down.... Can I blame my O-Line? Naw, they are a good bunch.

If THL moves the ball, it will be from broken tackles, blinks, and spins. If he doesn't, it will be due to a lack there of. We got a good AAA line, but it isn't Pro Level.
