Sadly, nobody has my dispute quite pinned down correctly. The way the team was advertised to all of us, it was 'follow our build plans until they're done 2 or 3 seasons from now and then once they're done and we're an elite competitive team, you can do whatever you want for the rest of their career as long as you commit them to this team.'
Then the plans came out, and the math I did indicated that the build plans would take 6 or 7 seasons to complete, twice as much time as we were told. So I pointed this out, along with the fact that if we really wanted to be competitive in 3 seasons there's no way we could do so if we're still sitting around with attributes like stamina/vision/confidence in the teens.
When I pointed this out, California got pissed and then the aforementioned shit-covered fan came into existence.
