True, but they lost their identity and are not the team they were (I don't even remember their first name). The question any owner needs to ask them self is: Would you whore your team out for the WL trophy .gif?

Personally I would never change my team name, merge with others, or do any of that. I know to win the WL .gif it is becoming a must (or perceived as a must) but I would not do that. Personal preference I guess. Valhalla or MPHD will win the WL this year and probably turn mergers into a thing of the past. I think the merger thing is just a "fad".

Move to team press releases, or Announcements at the very least.

still not that great though, considering heart of a champion works in all playoff games.

add to stamina tho as well. plus the 2 together add 45 confidence and 15 stamina to a player for the playoffs...

for some players that is pretty much ridonculously advantageous.

15% stamina = 7.5 for most

Is this counting just Halifax or does it also count the other 10+ pro teams they have merged with.

The tactic seemed to have worked for them.

WL trophy runs through Halifax. It's going to be hard for any team to beat them in the playoffs if they remotely gameplan for the games.

yeah, we've had a few players put points into hometown hero in the days leading up to championship games (we were home team both WL bowls), but I can't really think of (m)any positions where i'd take stamina over confidence.

hometown hero might give you the boost in regular season to make all your playoff games home games tho

yup, no doubt. the regular season is what makes the comparable. but when we're talking JUST playoffs, HoaC wins by a fair margin.

There is a reason this thread isn't about the Kai

Why would Gart888 make a thread about the kai when he has no affiliation with them?

My favorite college football team stole your OC/DC 2 years ago, and my favorite NFL team just stole your head coach and half the staff....

lol, I used Hometown Hero on a few players in the first 2 games of the season since we still had available resets after them games.

+1 to me.

Was bound to happen sooner or later, just so happened to be your college team and NFL team.

Leg isn't swept! until it brings you championships.
