Thats fine if you don't care about that kind of stuff. But do those a favor who do. Gut your team and go down to uncapped Minors or AA so you can feel good about beating on chump teams and not have to worry about recruiting and playing hard teams. You'll still get your trophies and be able to go undefeated and feel all warm and fuzzy doing it.

I don't owe any of you new guys "favors"... The Pirates, Warrior Kings, Angola Spider Monkeys, Sea Wolves etc... already did a lot of your teams favors. If they were still here (and I wish they were cause I personally miss them) the APL wouldn't be loaded with sub par team. Some of these teams wouldn't even have been promoted up to the APL if it wasn't for others folding. Now your complaining about the competition and think the APL should be weaker to make them a BIGGER joke and give your complaining teams another advantage... craziness...




Trust me Steve its quite apparent you don't feel you owe anyone anything. Its also apparent your not big on feeling challenged, the thought of losing again appears to be more than you guys can hack. Recruiting is difficult... People don't want to come to APL.... people leave when you don't win in WL... god... life sure is hard for a APL team isn't it. Any other excuses you could muster or that I forgot?

For a guy who doesn't owe anyone anything you still feel compelled to explain yourself for why you backed out of WL.

I'm ticked off about this comment. Honestly, a guy who has never been in APL at the same time as Steve, should keep his mouth shut. I've never had a problem with Dakar or anyone associated with the team, but I'm getting really tired of hearing attacks at Steve(aactually, WWR and GRitS) from people who don't know jack about him(them). TBH, I also find it pathetic that anyone is taking dotball so seriously that they start slinging insults because a team wants to win there way to the WL, rather than get handed a free pass. I guess that's because most of us had to fight hard to win championships to get here back before Bort started moving so many teams each offseason. And before the mistake that is the World League, we fought hard to become APL champ. If you did know, then you wouldn't be saying Steve isn't big on feeling challenged. If that was the case, the Rhinos would've folded like a lawn chair in Season 9 when the Sea Wolves beat them near the end of the year in our Sophomore season. Instead, they battled us in the Conference championship and won by 4. You clearly do not know Steve, the Rhinos, or even GRitS(who you were in the same conference with for a season).

Actually... I haven't given you any excuses at all! I was just letting the guys that are down on their luck know that I've been there and I understand. Don't get it twisted... I don't fear competition. The Rhino agents and myself didn't enjoy our stay in the WL. So we don't have an interest in going back this season. Easy as that.

Sorry you guys didn't earn (do you like this better than deserve ) a chance to be there this season...whether you are top 32 in GLB or not is debatable...one thing is for sure, you weren't top 8 in your conference last season.

I do miss the rivalries with Sea Wolves... We looked forward and marked our calendar for that game EVERY season... lol

The magical transaction? You missed the part with the APL teams not wanting to go to WL... thought that was old news.

Apparently someone has to go that was part of the League and he labeled it us. Definitely worth making it a conspiracy... no one else able to go and wanting to attempt to keep some parity.

No one is crying about anything. I'm just asking you if Manitoba's kicker makes that FG, would we then have "deserved" to be in the WL? It's a serious question since you seem to think that the results of an RNG are in some way directly related to ones "deserving" something. Actually, it isn't really that debatable. Good luck finding 32 teams to put in front of us. I'd really like to see you honestly try to rationalize that one.

Can't say i'm caring a whole lot Palmer. Your man crush for Steve is quite apparent I wouldn't expect you to see clearly through that.

You don't have to be part of a league from its inception to be able to sort through someone else's crap. Your trying to tell me that because these teams have been in APL forever that they deserve some level of respect? I should honor them for being part of a system that they have succeeded at? That same system involves promotion and relegation and being able to stay in APL. That same system involves promotion to WL which both have backed away from. Yeah GRITS wants back now imagine that with all the negative responses they've changed their mind.

Respect is earned. Respecting two teams that failed to follow a promotional standard that the vast majority of Pro teams appear to believe is correct isn't going to happen from me and a great deal of other people.

Steve has already said he doesn't care he's doing what's best for his team. Good for them then he should hardly care about one persons belief in their lack of integrity.
