The analogy is also totally ridiculous. Colts didnt throw the game. They were resting their starters!

No shit, it's because that's not what I said.

I said teams in the NFL knowingly affect other teams ability to make the playoffs, like when the Colts rested their starters a few seasons back.

Now this makes sense...even to me and I'm a bit slow at times.

yes, but that would be considered a strategic move. The Colts are helping their chances by keeping players healthy. What did BFM get out of screwing with the sim. Are all of their starters going to be ok for the post season scrimmages? I hope none of them were somehow injured in that game. I apologize if I am misunderstanding your analogy, but if I did understand it correctly, it is completely irrelevant, making it yet another bs attempt to justify the disrespect that these two teams showed against the entire league

I was under the impression this is GLB, not the NFL.

Its not what he said, I will find and link the thread.

R87 said that its okay to help out other WL teams that you pull for.

I dare you to deny this R87

See I was under the impression that this was simply a game.

poker is a game, but once you start getting money involved, things can get pretty emotional.

and that isn't to mention all of the time these GMs devote into every game

Yeah, if you want to lose poker. Also, gambling and investing money to play a game are two very different scenarios.

alright...we seem to be pretty into analogies lately. What if you spent tons of time training your kid for a sport, let's use baseball. You paid for his training to make him better and bought him the best equipment. Then, instead of getting named one of the little league all-stars, as he should have, he didn't make the cut. This only happened because another kid in the league was allowed to hit three uncontested homeruns against a team that his uncle was coaching...

That's about as close of an analogy as I can think of right now. There are some more real world affects involved, but anything that could be related to this would likely have that going on. Needless to say, I'd be pissed. I'm upset that this happened and I wasn't even going for one of the trophies

Or you could use something like this.

I spent $60 on a copy of Madden this year. I spent $50 to be able to play online on my Xbox. I paid $30 for a controller, and $20 for a rechargeable battery pack. Now, I like to go online and play against people. Sometimes when I play these people they use game glitches on me to win. There is nothing I can do to stop the glitches, and I don't like to use them personally. I could go and RAGE over the glitcher, screaming into my mic and report his to Microsoft, but I have a firm enough grasp on reality to know that it doesn't really matter.

Last I checked, Madden glitchers get banned or bad rep and no one ever plays with them again.

I really don't want to get into an argument. These two teams screwed up, and I'm sure it's obvious to most of them by now. It's in the hands of the administrators, but I really don't think that any amount of arguing will help your case on this one. I'm sure it was meant to be a lot more harmless than it has become, but the carefree attitude and refusal to even look at it from the perspective of other teams has probably pissed everyone off more than anything. Someone high up on one of those teams should have manned up and apologized. It would have really helped your case.
