It doesn't look that lopsided at a glance. But when you consider that Zeta has most of the teams who'll be hit hardest by the off season nerfs, along with both of the OPL promotions, then yeah it is kind of bad.

Of the teams that stayed in WL I think we shipped out 2 great teams yes but we got back Just as good. There's no LOL this season and the class of teams that came up has to have at least a team or 2 who should challenge for top 8.

We got the 2,3,4 seeds from alpha from last season and Drinkin at 8 made it to the ccg

we gave up the 2,3,5,8 seeds

Seems to be an even exchange and I really think the NJ blaze are going to be better than Krazy monkeys or windhoek were thus a tougher top 9 or 10 than last season

And This is why I think Zetas quality improved over last season The CPL champ the USAPL champ and the exchange of WL teams wasn't as lopsided as people are making it out to be. Alpha improved more than zeta but all around the entire WL picked up quality over last season I do believe. I mean Kai demoted that's gotta help

drinkin and HHW are just as good as MEM and Drygeria?

HHW is just as good as MEM or only slightly worse
TKW is better than Marblehead
Stewart ballers and Drinkin are better than BFM imho

Drygerian obviously better than all others listed. But considering I'm talking top 10 to 12 teams as a group and not top 2 or 3 teams the conference got better.

In my eyes, a conference is defined by how many teams actually have a shot at a title.

Alpha has 5, Zeta has 2 (mayyyyybe 3)

yes but last season zeta had 3 true title contenders

So this season you got Bonn HHW probably TKW and possibly a 4th I think your underestimating the title contenders and the depth overall

I mean obviously alpha has Shockers Mem Lincoln Dryblo at the top as Lincoln retooled to be just as nasty as Dryblo but seriously it's going to be nasty on both sides. Especially if TKW and MPHD progress as they should.

If you want to talk "true" title contenders, Zeta had 3 last season, and 1 this season. Sorry Blaze, HHW, TKW, MPHD and Drinkin. It's not going to happen.
