My top 10 RB's...
This is tough cause some of the better ones haven't been healthy. Assuming all are healthy, here are my picks...

1. AP... All Day...
2. LT... injuries have slowed him... but if a 1,000 8TDs (I think) is slow... well he's still above average hurt! lol
3. Brian Westbrook... he runs, he catches, and he's been known to kill your fantasy hopes on the one yard line.
4. Steven Jackson... another injury plagued guy...
5. Maurice Jones-Drew... the guy was an underused backup that will probably explode this season
6. Matt Forte... he's another Steven Jackson type player.
7. Michael Turner... would be higher, but he plays like crap on the road!
8. Brandon Jacobs... another injury guy... when healthy, he'll run right through you and wants to run through you.
9. Clinton Portis... 28 years old and a will have 10,000 career yards...
10 could be a mix of players... Gore/Slayton/Chris Johnson/Ronnie Brown/Lynch/DeAngelo Williams

This by far is the toughest list... most will disagree with me and I could see a million reasons why. RB are just so hard to judge.

I hate Philip Rivers... but he's more of a jackass then an asshole.
Cutler is a crybaby...

Both can chuck the rock though!

Yeah I've always hated Philip Rivers I was always a Jay Cutler guy when that rivalry was still alive.

***Unrelated note***

Looks like WWR will get to face off against a bunch of the old LOL guys in week 15 in the World League

I eagerly await our matchup

I think DeAngelo Williams is easily top 5 right now and the best thing about him was that all the hype coming out of college was Reggie Bush and Lendall White....Think the Saints are still happy with that pick?

I would have a problem putting Forte on that list. Not based off of one season.

To be honest, the only game I'm looking at right now is North Delta Huskies (game 1). If I look past that I'll get totally overwhelmed... lol Zeta is going to be a F'n (sorry for harsh letters ) war. Your guys have a super team in Hoblosion...
I know a lot of those guys don't care for me, lol, but I wish you luck man... I'm a fan of the LOL guys.

DeAngelo came up HUGE last season... I like him personally and I think his ceiling is yet to be touched! But I just think thats my personal hype! haha....
When Reggie is healthy, he does the job he was drafted to do... the jury is still out on him. I think he fits perfectly into the Saints system, they just gotta get his knee healthy and not rush him back... he's fully participating in camp from what I'm reading.

WRs...

1. Andre Johnson
2. Randy Moss (when he wants to be, he's heads and shoulders above AJ)
3. Anquan Boldin (when healthy, he's gets good yac yards and finds the endzone.
4. Larry Fitzgerald
5. Calvin Johnson
6. Reggie Wayne
7. Steve Smith
8. Wes Welker (would be higher if he could go deep...)
9. Greg Jennings
10. Rody White

These are just off the top of my head... Do you guys think I'm close or what?

I think you're close, but a few are really off for me.

Here's mine:

1. Randy Moss
2. Andre Johnson
3. Steve Smith
4. Reggie Wayne
5. Larry Fitzgerald
6. Greg Jennings (inb4 lolwat)
7. Roddy White
8. Calvin Johnson
9. Ocho Cinco*
10. Anquan Boldin

*Conditional, as was my #3 ranking of Palmer headed into 07. He had a down year, but I don't really think it should drop him too far. I'll keep him top 10 if his numbers this year reflect the Ocho we know.

In pre-emptive defense of:
-Greg Jennings: Most underrated WR in the NFL, aside from maybe Derrick Mason. GREAT YAC, amazing route running, deceptive speed, solid hands. He's a good blocker too (not a Q or a Ward but a solid blocker).
-TO: Top 5 talent. However, it doesn't matter if you can turn a WR screen into a 90 yard TD against Bailey in his prime (Philly vs Denver, 2005 regular season). If you don't help your team win in a team sport, you're not a good player. TO is a top ME player in the ultimate WE game. Also, I discount him because he fucks with QBs' heads. He wants the ball, so it messes with the QB's read progressions. Not a good player.
-Steve Smith: You will miss him if you're only looking at stats post-2005. Watch how HE plays outside of his offense. Just like Torry Holt. He plays well... maybe the best pound-for-pound blocker in the league. Everything is crisp. If he were Fitzgerald's height, everyone would be talking about how great he is because his jump ball, inch for inch, is as good if not better than Larry Fitz.

I don't think I really need to defend anything else. Calvin Johnson will probably shoot up within the next 2 years and eventually be #1 (the same I'm predicting with Matt Ryan [when PManning retires]). If you don't like where Andre Johnson is, start watching football. Same with Roddy White.

Honorable mentions:
Brandon Marshall, Santonio Holmes (not for the superbowl. he had a bad 08 season. otherwise I'd consider him for top 10), Wes Welker, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Lee Evans, Torry Holt

My top 10 RBs:

1. AD
2. LdT* (* - see above)
3. Michael Turner (Note: 3-9 are all ridiculously close... only AD really stands above the pack these days)
4. Deangelo Williams - In the red zone... he's on fire... ridiculously good
5. Brandon Jacobs - Let's see who he is without Derrick Ward
6. Brian Westbrook
7. Steven Jackson
8. Clinton Portis
9. Frank Gore
10. Ronnie Brown, if he can stay healthy for a season, he'll probably jump up.

Honestly though, there are so many in the pack. Darren Sproles (if he weren't an RB2), Marion Barber (if he could be a feature back without wearing out [I TOTALLY CALLED THAT BY THE WAY]), Chris Johnson (health, 1st year back), Matt Forte (1st year back), Marshawn Lynch, Joseph Addai, FWP (only a year removed from 2 straight pro bowls),

It's the year of the middle-of-the-pack for RBs imo. Only AD has separated himself from it. On another day, I might rank 3-10 totally differently.

1. Randy Moss trying
2. Larry Fitzgerald
3. Andre Johnson
4. Calvin Johnson
5. Randy Moss

No one else matters

I don't see how more people don't have Fitz high on their list. He's another WR much like Moss that is ALWAYS wide open. 2 guys, 3 guys, 4 guys, doesn't matter. He's open.....don't believe me? Throw it to him, he'll catch it.

Reggie Wayne > Calvin Johnson (for now), And Brandon Marshall (the true, "if he is trying guy on the list") should be on that list as well.

This is the best list I have seen, but you cant put Roddy White ahead of brandon Marshal...and if you are throwing out TO for the "team player" reason you have to have Welker in for the same reason, that little shit throws his body around like there is no tomorrow.

With the pick-up of Pat White and a healthy Ricky Williams, Ronnie Brown won't be called on so much this season and that should bode well for his legs and for the Dolphins. You can probably go ahead and bump him up.

On a side note, I am looking forward to the Bills games for the first time in years with the arrival of T.O.. Add to that a healthy Steve Johnson and the aerial assault from the Bills could be the best in team history.
